My Perfect Life (A Christina Grimmie Fanfic)

Chapter 7

Christina's POV

I woke up at 7:43. I laid there in my bed with thoughts racing through my head. I got up and took my shower. I kept thinking about meeting Anna. I got out of the shower and got dressed. I went downstairs and checked the time. It was 8 and Anna and her familt were going to be here at 10. I went into the kitchen and was overwhelmed by the smells of bacon, eggs, coffee, and sniff sniff wet dog. Umm okay. I saw my mom cooking beeakfast and my dad reading the newspaper and sipping coffee. I went to the fridge and got out some orange juice and poured myself a glass. I sat down when my half sleeping half awake brother, Mark, walked in and sat down with a cup of coffee.

I checked the time after we were all done eating and it was 9:45. I told Mark he needed to get ready. Without a word, he got up and got ready. I kept pacing around my room waiting for Anna to get here. I almost fell over with excitement.when I heard car doors slamming. I ran down stairs only falling down twice. I looked out window and ran out the door.  I ran up to Anna and picked her up and spun her around. I don't know why but I started crying. I havn't looked into the eyea of my daughter but I could tell that when I did her eyes were going to warm my heart. When I heard Anna taking deep fast breaths, I knew she was crying which just made me cry harder. After about a minute of crying and hugging, I put Anna down and looked into her eyes for the first time in 8 years. I just stood there looking into her beautiful blue eyes. I looked away when I realized she was uncomfortable.

I took some of Anna's bags and took them to her room where Kira and her were staying. I told them to get unpacked while I talked with my mom.

I went downstairs and saw a note from mom. It said "Me and your father went grocery shopping so you and Anna can catch up. Love Mom"

I heard my phone ding so I went to check it. It was a text from my best friend Sarah. I told her about Anna comimg to LA and she told me she was also coming to meet my daughter Anna. The text said that her flight just landed and she was going to be at the house in a hour. I went back upstairs and went into Anna's room. I told her Sarah was coming in an hour and her face lit up.

After her mom, dad, and brother were all unpacked we decided to watch a movie in the livingroom. I took a seat in the middle of the couch. I had Anna on my left and Kira on the right. We decided to watch Finding Nemo. About halfway into the movie, I looked over at Anna and saw that she was sleeping and so was Kira. I got up without waking up the girls and asked them what they wanted to do. They told me that they were going to get Anna another birthday present. They left and I was alone with the girls.  I was going to check all my social media sites when there was a faint knock at the door. I opened the door to see Sarah looking at me with a smile plasteed on her face. I took a deep breath and let it out. It was going to be a long day.
