Zayden’s POV
“Miss Zayden. Wake up already. Breakfast is ready.”
I groaned as I heard the voice of my human alarm clock. Tsk. Sometimes I regret my decision to make her my assistant. She’s always ruining my good sleep.
“Miss Zayden!” She called again, but this time she raised her voice. Like what the? I’m her boss, how dare she raise her voice at me!
“Tsk. I’m already up. Just wait for me downstairs.”
“Alright, Miss. Just be quick, I need you to review the schools I have listed.”
Now, she’s ordering me?
“Tsk. Fine.”
As soon as she left, I quickly did my morning routine and went downstairs.
But as soon as I got here in the living room, Zane, my assistant quickly handed me my laptop.
“Here. Take a look at the schools that I have listed.”
I frowned at her. “Can you let me eat breakfast first?” I annoyingly said.
“Oh, sorry Miss. You walk straight to the living room I thought you’d eat breakfast later after you’ve checked this.” She said still maintaining a straight face.
Now that she wears glasses, she looks like a more strict-looking woman in that.
...
After I’m done with my meal, I return to the living room where Zane is, currently browsing the web.
“So, what kind of school are we enrolling in?” I asked as I sat down on the couch.
“Let me read it for you.”
I nod at her as a response.
“Montello High. A school for gangsters.”
“Gangsters? The one that we saw in the streets? Big guys, who wear big chains as their necklaces? Likes to trip sexy girls at night?”
With a poker face, she said. “That’s not the kind of gangster.”
“Then what is it?”
“Forget it. You probably not going to like that school so why would I bother to explain it to you.”
Tsk. I throw her a glare and she immediately suggests another school.
“Hell University. A school where killing is legal.”
“What the f**k. Are you serious?”
“No,”
“Then don’t joke---” I didn’t finish my sentence when she cut me off.
“Because I’m Zane, not, serious,” she said still wearing a straight face.
Was that supposed to be a joke?
“Next. BIS? It’s a famous school where Deib Lhor Enrile and Max Pein Del Valle studying.”
“Huh? Who are they?” I asked, wearing a questioning look.
