Junkook found himself not paying attention in class for the rest of the day. His mind was too occupied with Taehyung's situation. He knew how it felt to be placed as a failure by your own parents.

But, he would never be able to have Taehyung live with him as he knew his house wasn't the best environment. He sighed, finding himself getting all the homework Taehyung missed again and meeting him at the nurse's office.

"Oh, Jungkook. It's after school, what're you doing here?" Mr. Kim asked.

"I'm here to give Taehyung the stuff he missed. Is he still here?"

Mr. Kim nodded, "Yes, we're currently waiting for his parents to pick him up. He might be resting, so be quiet."

Jungkook nodded, quietly making his way back to Taehyung who was fast asleep. He looked kinda cute hugging an extra pillow.

Wait, cute? What the heck, Jungkook?! Pull yourself together!

He shook his head as he looked to Taehyung again. No amount of color gives justice to how stunning Taehyung looked.

No, stop! What the heck, Jungkook!

Jungkook heard the door open to see his mom come through. She looked pissed as she strode over to the peaceful Taehyung.

"Thanks for watching over him. I'll take him home." She said with an obviously fake smile.

Jungkook bows, "His stuff's here then. Goodbye." He escapes the room and once the door closed he heard his mom yell.

"Wake up you lazy ass!" With a smack sounding after. Jungkook bit his lip. He felt bad for Taehyung.

"Jungkook? Why are you still here?" He heard, looking to the door to see Taehyung with his mom next to him.

Jungkook could see the mark from his mom. "U-Um, I was thinking that you don't have my number. I wanted to give it if you had questions about what you missed."

Taehyung nodded, pulling out his phone, "Thanks." He simply smiled making Jungkook feel a weird sensation in his tummy.

They exchanged numbers and bid farewell as Jungkook headed home. Once there, he decided to text Taehyung first.

Jungkook:
Hey if you need anything just let me know

He set his phone down to work on some of his papers, only to hear his phone ding two seconds later. That was fast.

Taehyung:
Okay thanks ☺
Do you understand algebra?

Jungkook:
Not really but I can try?

Taehyung:
Well, what subject are you good in?

Jungkook:
Music and PE 😶

Taehyung:
I'm honestly not surprised

Jungkook:
What's that supposed to mean 😡

Taehyung:
Just that it suits you 😅 if you ever need help I'm good at history

Jungkook:
I'll keep that in mind

Taehyung:
Hey, can I ask you a question?
