Q: winter, winter come on, wake up

W: uhhhhh, oh gosh I'm really sore please leave me be qrow.

Qrow stepped back and went to the bathroom, and started to run a hot bath for winter, when it was done, he stepped back in to the room, pulled the sheets of winter, and gently picked her up bridal style, and started carrying her to the bath, winter started to stir, still sore from last night's escapades.

Q: winter, I love you.

Winter peeled her eyes open and beamed at Qrow.

W: I love you too

Qrow then placed winter down in the bath, to let her loosen up.

Q: I'm going to get breakfast from the canteen, what do you want?

W: IL have an omelet, with fatty tomatoes, and, some sausages and  hash browns. if you don't mind

Qrow crouched next to winter, and leaned caressing her cheek, as the two smiled at each other.

Q: sure thing, ice queen

Minutes later qrow returned with his and winters breakfasts, he set them down on the bed and went to the bath where winter was finishing off in the tub, he helped her out and helped her dry off quickly, wrapped her in a sheet then carried her onto the bed where the two ate their breakfast.

Later on in the afternoon winter and qrow are walking past the smithy after the second fleet master had called them their, for a meeting

S (smithy): so you two, the comander has made it obligatory for you to start wearing armour, that will protect you not only from monsters, but also the elements, since winter is coming.

Q: I thought winter came last night.

Winter quickly jabs qrow in the side with her elbow.

W: well should we get started?

Winter and qrow them get fitted at the smith, a few hours later and qrow emerges wearing full odogaron alpha armour, and winter stepped out in legiana beta armour.

Q: looking good ice queen

W: not to shabby yourself Qrow.

Winter and Qrow now stood before the comander at his table.

C: I've had some disturbing news

The comander is standing around his table, the feild team leader, huntsman, second fleet master, teck cheif, winter and qrow where standing around it with him.

C: I received a message that the sapphire star has become missing in action, and with no top hunter we need to be more vigilant and strong. If  he is dead then we must find a suitable candidate to replace him, even if it's only short term to cover for him until he comes back, if he is alive.

Q: so you brought us here to tell us who it is that's the replacement

C: actually I was thinking more than one, a pair that crossed my mind was you and winter, I would assume you have more than the skills to fill the task breif

W: we'll do it sir, but with all due respect, we still need to get home To fight our own battles.

C: I understand, as soon as you can leave the you are free to but while you are here, we would like to fully utilize your skills.

Q: one condition

Winter nuged qrow In the gut like, that's inappropriate.

Q: we don't have to pay for the food.

C: as you wish.

W: realy that's what you ask for qrow, free food?

Q: wouldn't it be better to spend that money on armour or resources? And besides, since the foods free, what say we have a nice candlelight dinner together?

W: you are soo cheap. And cheesy. But a nice dinner would be wonderful.

Q: well I will hold you to that, for us to indulge in once this hunt is done.

W: right, we should probably start preparing, comander what can you tell us about glavenus?

The comander continued to breif both of them on the glavenuses abilities location and the protocol if something goes south.

Winter and Qrow both lay in bed together, it was sunset, and they both looked out to sea, through the window, Winter was resting her head on Qrow's shoulder.

W: hey big day tomorrow, I'm going to sleep.

Qrow pecked winter on the forehead and turned towards her as the two climbed under the covers together and fell asleep.
