*6 months later* (a/n: cause I'm lazy)

"I brought dinner."

Jeongyeon displayed a plastic bag as she entered the small apartment loft that Y/N owned.

"Already ate," he replied. "Make yourself at home."

Jeongyeon placed the bag down and took out a container of tteokbokki. She popped off the lid and her thin fingers clenched the spicy rice cake and stuffed them into her mouth, licking the savory remains from her fingertips.

"Alright. You had time to do your little research," said Jeongyeon as she plopped onto the sofa with the tteokbokki, one foot stretched onto the table. "What have you come up with now?"

Y/N swatted her foot.

"Feet off the table. Tables are not footstools."

Slightly annoyed, Jeongyeon rolled her eyes and leaned forward over the table. "Continue."

Y/N turned and sat down on a chair across from her.

"I have found a juicy mark," said Y/N.

Jeongyeon took a bite of her tteokbokki.

"Who's the target?"

"Big money."

"Mmm. Okay. How big is big?"

"No more cons..."

It was Jeongyeon's turn to raise an eyebrow.

"A retirement score? How much we talking about?" she asked intriguingly as she continued to eat her food.

A faint smile appeared on Y/N's face.

"50 million USD, give or take."

Jeongyeon choked on the tteokbokki. The deafening silence was filled with coughs.

"Water?" offered Y/N, pushing forward a glass.

Red-faced, Jeongyeon nodded violently and grabbed the glass. Y/N sat there watching put down the near-empty glass and exhale.

"I'm good now," replied Jeongyeon as she cleared her throat. "Who's the mark?"

Y/N's smile turned into a crooked grin.

"Min Yoongi."

Jeongyeon slammed her now-empty bowl of tteokbokki on the table.

"Min Yoongi?!" she exclaimed. "Like 'Suga' Min Yoongi?! You want to hit YGM Corporation?!"

"Yup," affirmed Y/N. "He has something very valuable hidden in his office."

"You want to break into Min Yoongi's office?" hollered Jeongyeon. "No one knows for sure what's even in there. Rumors have it that it has not one but two sixteen-bit daisy-chain encryption passwords. God knows what else is could be inside: motion sensors, infrared sensors, vibration detectors, whatever. You name it, it's probably in there."

"Yay! You know exactly what I'm talking about," said Y/N cheerfully as he sipped his water. "I love it when we're on the same page."

"Same page? We're not reading the same fucking book." The infuriated Jeongyeon stormed over to the sink, shoving her styrofoam bowl into the trash can. "Hell, we're not even in the same goddamn library!"

"A crime of this magnitude requires quite a big team," began Jeongyeon as she opened the fridge door, examining its contents. "I mean, you'll need a crew of... I don't know. ... fourteen-fifteen people at least."

"Nah," refuted Y/N nonchalantly. "Just five."

"Five? What the hell can you do with five people?"

"Well, quite a lot actually. You just gotta, you know, change the con up a bit."

"You're going to get us killed, that's what's gonna happen." Jeongyeon stared at him, face twisted in disapproval.

Y/N shrugged. "But you like it..."

She smirked. "Alright. Fine. You, me. Who else would be willing enough to pull off this absolute batshit crazy job?"

"I have several good ideas," began Y/N, lips pursed in thought. "To start, we're going to need a hitman."

"A hitman?" Jeongyeon questioned. "What do we need one of those for?"

"You know. Insurance. I'm willing to bet that place is gonna be swarmed with guards."

Jeongyeon squinted. "Then how do you propose hiding the dead bodies?"

Y/N looked up, eyes perched on Jeongyeon.

"There won't be any dead bodies." His eyes stared daggers into her head. "Rule 4, remember?"

"Yeah, yeah," mumbled Jeongyeon, waving her hands. "No killing. I know."

She settled back into her seat and drew a sharp breath.

"So who do you have in mind?"

"Guess," he challenged.

Jeongyeon stared at Y/N with a grimace.

"That doesn't really help. I'm assuming you're referring to a martial artist but that is so broad. Judo, kendo, wushu, taekwondo, hapkido,  what else is there." Jeongyeon leaned back and sighed.

"Give me a hint," she demanded. Y/N nodded understandingly.

"Pallas Taekwondo," responded Y/N.

"Pallas?" Jeongyeon looked up with a dumbfounded expression on her face. She leaned back once more.

"Pallas... Greek titan of Warcraft." Her fingers lightly drummed on each other as she brought them together in deep thought. "Taekwondo?"

Her face strained as she struggled to come up with an idea.

"Wait." Her tense expression fell as a sly grin crept onto Y/N's face.

"You know who I'm talking about," said Y/N in a sing-song manner.

"No, I refuse. We will not have that monstrosity on the crew."

Y/N closed his eyes with a mischievous grin.

"Kim Jennie. Founder of Pallas Taekwondo. Master of pressure point martial arts." Y/N muttered as if he was reading from a script. His eyes slowly opened, a heartless glean glittered from within. "Brutal yet elegant. I think she'd make a great asset given she adheres to our rules."

"Damn right it's brutal. She's infamously known for the highest kill rates in the underworld." roared Jeongyeon as Y/N began to pick at his nails. "And you want her?"

Y/N looked up. "Yeah, I do. I have some ideas to keep her in line."

Defeated, Jeongyeon let out a sigh.

"Fine," she murmured. "How do you plan on recruiting her? Nobody knows what she looks like."

"Well, that's because she makes sure no one reveals it," said Y/N matter-of-factly. "And lucky us, I also have her cell phone number."

He raised his phone. The words "Jennie Kim" was printed on the contact page. Jeongyeon's jaw dropped.

"You know her?"

"Got into a fight with her back in '09," explained Y/N, hands clasped together as he recalled the memory. "I was barely a toothpick to her. Fractured my forearm."

"How are you going to get her to join?" asked Jeongyeon.

"No big deal. She'll join, no doubt about it. I'll talk to her later."

Jeongyeon nodded in agreement.

"Get some rest," said Y/N. "We have a big day tomorrow."
