Chaptre 30

I woke up to a start to see a bare naked Hermione sleeping right beside me. Now normally, as every fiancé should, I would have loved that image. But in hindsight I realized we forgot something I just couldn't remember what. I woke Hermione up and her disgruntled face looked into mine.

Draco looked panicked, worried. 

H: Dray whats the matter?

D: I don't know, I just feel this rush that we forgot something

H: My love come back to bed

Now as I lay there with an obviously nervous Draco spooning me I realized the fact and sat up abruptly.

H: Draco! The anti-contraceptive spell

We both turned stark white

D: It was just so late, I'm so sorry

At this point I was pacing around the room like life itself depended on it, because it did. 

D: What if your pregnant, a little life. Oh my Merlin

Now Draco was pacing

D: I can't hardly keep a hold on myself yet a baby, I'm going to die. What is going to happen? What if we're terrible parents? I can't do this

I saw the confident exterior of Draco Malfoy fade away

H: Dray! Let's just see if I'm pregnant

I went into the bath and pulled out a pregnancy test I had brought from this summer. I remember the feeling quite well. Nervousness, out of control, throw up. All of it in a ball in my uterus.

I peed on the pregnancy test and waited.

I saw Hermione come out of the bathroom in tears holding a little stick. She looked so heartbroken. I rushed to her. But as I went over she smiled.

I showed the test to Draco.

H: Maybe its not the way we panned but I want to have a baby with you babe

I watched a tear fall down his face and a smile emerge

D: Well at least I'm not last to the party

The little pick plus sign smiled back at us as we hugged. All three of us.

An hour later all of our friends had arrived and Draco and I defended the stairs together with a box.

G: Babe not that I don't love coming over but what is this.

B: Malfoy what did you do

R: Pans do you know what this is

P: No idea

L: Maybe the Nargles got em

Harry smiled at his newly pregnant fiancé. And Draco and I sat on the couch and put the box on the table.

H: Don't worry we just have a present for you all for getting us together.

Ha: Yep the Nargles got em

H: Bloody well one of yous just open it

Ha: Thats more like it and Harry took the top off the box

D: Now don't freak out, we are very excited. 

They pulled the wrapping paper of to reveal the little pink plus.

B: Wait to go mate

Ginny was crying and cradled a crying Pansy sash sobbed with joy. Luna just beamed at us.

L: You both are going to make such amazing parents..
