Percy POV
I sat next to the water and gazed at the trees in the distance. When the gods found out what we were doing, they decided to help us by giving us a base. The base was in the middle of a forest, and a small two meter high waterfall fed into a clear pool. A giant oak stretched over the pool from behind, and fish flurried through the clean waters. At least, that is what outsiders saw.
If you go behind the waterfall, you are met with a normal rock wall. But if you have proper clearance, the wall will silently move and give way to the base. The base contained rooms for each of the seven and three extras, so ten in all. It also had a kitchen, living room, gym, medbay(obviously, do you know how many times I get hurt in a week?) and computer room. The computer room also had a secret exit. If (again, you had to have proper clearance) you pressed against the rock wall behind the table of computers manned by Leo, it would open into a small room, that led upwards into the oak tree behind the falls. The roots of that tree were exposed and huge, which is also why they installed a periscope there. If you push a button from the computer room, the periscope would rise up and give a full view of the outside.
So, all in all, the base was AWESOME. It housed everything they needed, and most of the things they wanted too.
Percy was snapped out of his thoughts when Leo contacted him with the information for the first all-team mission.
Percy ran inside to the computer room to see everyone else already there, waiting for the briefing.
"Okay," He began. "Here's what we have to do…"
