Jason’s POV
Jason cursed in Latin under his breath, adding a few Greek words in for good measure. He watched the Joker hold Bruce Wayne and his wards hostage, along with the police commissioner's daughter. A falcon landed on his shoulder, and Jason knew instantly it was Frank. He gave him a nod and it was returned, and a few seconds later, Annabeth buzzed in.
She had her “strategizing voice” on, the one she always got during missions. “Don’t give away the fact that all of us are here. Percy, Jason, and Frank, go in. Me, Piper, and Hazel were at the event, so people might suspect. And Leo has never been seen by the public, so let’s keep it that way.”
Percy picked up where Annabeth left off. “J, you go in and pretend to be the only one there, Frank, stay as a bird until your needed, I’ll wait outside too.”
“Ok, Percy,” Jason confirmed, “I’m going in.”
He took a deep breath and descended.
