A/n:
This is a mixture of a Mental monologue and back story, your walking into school...

(Y/n)'s POV
The first week of Freshman year has been... ok. My best friends, Tia and Eddie, are the stereotypical theater kids.
We've only had each other, so we stick together. I tell Tia everything she's the bests friend a person could ask for, she's a short African-American girl, with red braids and is pansexual; she's has an awesome grandma persona called Mama Rose and always where's her black combat boots with roses.
Eddie is a tall broad Mexican boy that has a hint of Arabic which explains the beard and facial structure; he's straight and is awesome at acting and singing. Both of them are higher on the social ladder, so you never understood why they chose to hang out with you; and on top of that you found yourself to be the least attractive person in the school(which is not true at all, people don't like you because of how attractive and beautiful you are: in the story and real-life (=^・3・^=))
My birthday is tomorrow; I think I'm going to have it at Chuck E. Cheese, why the hell not it's my 14th.
I learned to stop caring about what other people think, the only people I'll ever listen to are those that actually care about me... and Crystal does not care about me. She's the fakest person in the world, she is the female Flash. Her and Flash have been dating since middle school. They're called Flash and Cash. It's like shitty Bonnie and Clyde.

3rd person POV
You walk through the school gates wearing your slip-on checkered vans the same pair you've had since last year, black ripped trousers, a fitting yet baggy green shirt with your hair up and your book-bag that you painted sunflowers on last night, not caring who was staring and why they were; but you always knew they were.
You shake the thought of having millions of eyes staring at you; giving you a bit of anxiety and head straight to your meet up spot.
It's a bench in the corner of the quad next to a small grass area with a cherry blossom tree that gives perfect shade all year round.
While walking Tia walks up to You; in an enthusiastic attitude and pulls out your headphones
"Hay (y/n) how's life," she asks while joining you. "The normal" you reply in a monotone voice while looking down at your shoes; god I need a new pair.
"How can life be normal, your birthday is tomorrow. Hay, at least you'll find out who the love of your life is" she states while tracing her finger down your arm in a seductive way that matches the look on her face. You give her the "really-seriously" look and roll your eyes, She laughs.
"Ya, life's going to get better all because I receive a piece of paper with a boy's name on it, that will fall madly in love with me, watch it's gonna be blank," you reply sarcastically.
"Don't be an ass, it could. For all we know you could get a celebrity... or Peter Parker" she replies slyly. You could punch her, but you just give her a death stare with a hint of blush.
You had fancied him for a while but would never act on it, how could you, he's the most popular kid out of the nerds and weirdos. And you were at the bottom of the social ladder when it comes to nerds and weirdos and that's the bottom half of the general social ladder... let's just say no one really knows who you are.
You two walk together to the spot, Eddie is sitting under the tree with a book that has a black cover on it and his Bluetooth headphones in; probably listening to Gorillaz or Frank Sinatra. You and Tia walk behind the tree and separate to each side of the tree; nods are exchanged with mischievous grins plastered on both of your faces, Tia slow slides his phone from the grass closer to her a picks up his phone. You join her and look at his phone, his volume is only at 14; and as you guessed he's listening to Gorillaz. You both decide he needs a bit of a turn-up, he's too relaxed. You turn up the volume while trying to keep your laugh quiet. Eddie then springs up from his spot and throws his headphones out of his ears and turns to look at the two of you.
"Are you trying to make me def or just scare the shit out of me?" he asks while breathing quickly. You just look at him with innocent eyes.
"Eddie, we would never do such awful things," You say in your best "innocent-yet-offended" voice.
"Ha ha ha, very funny, You two could probably get away with murder" he responds with a sarcastic tone as he picks up his stuff and sits at the table. You and Tia join him.
"So, ready to find out who the love of your life is?" Eddie asks putting his stuff away.
"Ya sure definitely. Can't wait! Hope they're into spider-human mutants." you say whisper shouting.
"Come on (y/n), for all we know you'll get another superhero." Tia says trying to comfort me.
"Wishful thinking, wishful thinking." you say wanting to change the subject. You all talk with each other until the bell rings and you all head your separate ways to the first period.

(Time skip provided by: "I'm rewriting this" and "I need to finish this or I'll procrastinate")

3rd person POV
Finally lunch, I can just hang out with Tia; Eddie has practiced for the show in a few days so he won't be joining.
You start walking to the spot when you're stopped right in your tracks by a pair of crystal blue eyes and medium-length cherry dyed hair. Cash the one person you didn't want to see right now with a few of her friends.
"So, (y/n) I heard your birthday is tomorrow, whatcha gonna do have a little tea party or how about a little sleepover." She asks while bending down to your hight so your face to face and pretending to hold a teacup with her pinky finger pointed out. "Why do you care, trying to sabotage my birthday," you ask with your arms crossed giving her a dirty look.
"Heavens no, I simply want to rip up the piece of paper with the love of your life's name on it so you'll be alone forever," she says in an enthusiastic tone.
"O how nice you don't want to ruin my birthday just my life," you say in an understanding sarcastic tone. She gives you a confused look.
"Duh keep up, I thought you were supposed to be the smart one," she says making a sound like common sense. She leans to her friends and shakes her head. You still had no idea how she made it into Midtown, but you guessed her father paid for her.
You huff, roll your eyes and push past them walking to Tia who's on her phone.
"Hay you wanna get lunch," you ask her, she looks up at you and says
"Sure". She gets up while putting her phone in her pocket and walks with you into the cafeteria.

A/n:
I hope you enjoyed the rewritten first chapter. Not many changes but just a couple of tweaks here and there.
