Inkigayo Sandwiches

7am

Rosé was in their group's car with the others. It was 6am in the morning and theu member had just fallen asleep, except Rosé.

She decided to give her mom a call it's to say goodbye again. But then she realized it was 6 in the morning so she left a voice message

'Hey mom, I'm just in the car now with the girls. I know it's a bit early but I just wanted to let you know that i love you. And i miss you already'

She ended the message and looked out the window. She felt kind of empty and she didn't really know why. She wanted someone to talk to her in some reassuring way.

She soon closed her eyes to get some some sleep but before she even realized she heard clamoring happening outside the car. She saw flashes from cameras outside the tinted windows.

She yawned. That felt like a minute, she thought.

They all got out and marched through the airport. Camera were going off and people were screaming out their names. None of girls were in the mood because... well, it was 7 in the morning.

When they finally got passed their terminal gates, there was a bit more peace and quiet.

As they were walking down an escalator there was a big long lit up sign of Jungkook posing for a fragrance ad up on the wall. He was in a car being all masculine. Rosé saw it her face lit up.

Before Chaeyoung got to it, she decided to FaceTime Jungkook and show him because she found it funny.
She first looked around, to check if her manager was watching her. Then she dialed.

After a while, Jungkook finally answered. He was in his closet, eyes still a bit puffy.

'Hey uh-' he croaked, a little bit baffled.

'Wait shh, don't say anything yet, I have to show you something' she whispered. She looked up and started to giggle.
After like 3 seconds of Jungkook squinting into pure darkness as Chaeyoung had pressed her front camera onto her chest, she suddenly lifted her phone up to an angle where he could her elated face and the lit up ad of him holding a steering wheel.
Jungkook dropped his head out of pure embarrassment.
'Oh God' he chuckled, shaking his head.

Rosé was silently laughing. 'What?! You look cute, driving in your red car-'
'And it's so big as well ahhh' he croaked covering his eyes.
Rosé was crying now with joy. 'I love the way your expression just dropped'
'That's because that's just beyond embarrassing' Jungkook cried quietly. 'Where are you anyways?'
'Oh I'm at the airport. We're off to our first international concert in the US' she whispered.
'Oh really?
'Mm-hmm'
'Well I hope you have a safe flight and get some rest'
'Awe thank you, okay, I gotta go'
'Ok, bye'
'Bye' she smiled.
'Bye' he smiled

There was a flirtatious look in his eye that made Chaeyoung go all giggly. He laughed. Both of them wouldn't hang up on each other.

'I have to go now' Rosé whispered, still giggling.

Jungkook waved frantically, baring his teeth. She gave a little wave back.

As soon as she did, out of nowhere, Jisoo snatched the phone out of Rosé's hand.

'Okay now, ANNEONG, have a good day' Jisoo said in English and ended the call.

Rosé took the phone back off her and looked at Jisoo in disbelief.

'What was that for?' said Rosé.

'Umm do you realize you've been on the phone for almost half an hour?'

Rosé looked around. She had somehow already passed the flight's gate without realizing and now was walking to their plane.

'What? How-'

'That's because you were caught up talking to that guy'

'What guy?' asked Jennie, over hearing the conversation.

'Oh, she was talking this guy from BT-'

'ONE OF THE BACKSTAGE DANCERS!'

Jennie looked at Rosé with a blank expression. 'What, why?'

'Because... he's sick at the moment and... he felt bad so I was telling to get lots of rest'

Jisoo was speechless. She had never seen Chaeyoung lie so blatantly to any of the members. All because of a guy...

Rosé glanced at Jisoo nervously. She knew Jisoo was shocked and unimpressed. The problem was, Jennie was YG's precious gem and she would usually tell YG almost anything to keep that royalty treatment. She certainly could not have Jennie knowing about Jungkook a.k.a Shuk Hyun's mortal enemy, biggest competitor etc etc.

'Oh alright I guess' said Jennie as she continued to put some of her things above her pod.

Jisoo looked even more speechless because even though Rosé was an awful liar, Jennie could smell any lie from a mile away, no matter how good of a liar you were. So it was strange and deadly suspicious of her to believe something like that.

They sat down, waiting for the plane to take off. Rosé sighed and looked her the window. She was thinking if she was going to miss this place since she's live a big portion of her life in Korea.

It'll be fine, she thought, it'll be okay...
