Days past and everyone carried on with their lives. However, in those few days, Jungkook and Chaeyoung got closer and closer.

Every morning, Chaeyoung would secretly go to her bathroom and Facetime Jungkook all the main points of her evening before. They would compare each other experiences and sometimes even bicker about small things when they had differences.

Through out the day, they would snap each other random things, when they had free time of course. Like one time Chaeyoung was in a mall and she found this black bucket hat and sent a funny video to Jungkook of her wearing it.

'Wow' he chuckled. 'You have good taste. Black and bucket hats are my cup of tea'

'Oh really?' She asked, but she was already aware of that. She bought the hat as soon as he said it.

Another time, Jungkook was in the group's car and the song DDU-DU-DDU-DU and he sent a video to her lip-syncing to the song with his sunglasses on.

This carried on for a while until one late evening...

'I FEEL AWFUL!' cried Chaeyoung, as she laid in her bed. She had gotten minor food poisoning this afternoon and now was lying in bed by herself, crying into the phone to Jungkook at 1:30 in the night.

'It's that weird restaurant we went to this afternoon. They say they're 5 stars but i knew something was wrong the minute the waiter brought out the... food' she groaned. 'I asked for their 'classic bbq ribs' because apparently that was their "specialty" but when I bit into it, red flags and sirens in my head were just going off! My teeth was basically squeezing cold grease from the so called 'the best ribs in the states' and I was just mortified... '

As she continued to complain about her lunch, Jungkook watched her and listened to her. He could have listened to her all night long but he was really tired.

Then he smiled.

Chaeyoung glanced back at her phone screen to check if he was understanding the unbearable suffering she had to go through today but to her surprise, he was smiling.

'Why are you smiling?'

'Because you're cute when you mad' he closed his eyes.

Rosé heart skipped a beat. Why would he say that, she thought. It's probably because he's tired. She felt her face going hot.

She turned away from the screen quickly before he could notice. 'You know y-you can't just say those things b-because you could really give someone the wrong idea and I-'

As she glanced back at the screen, she realized the he had fallen asleep while he was still FaceTiming.

Chaeyoung tried not to giggle but he was such a cute sleeper. She looked at him closely. His skin looked so soft and glow-y, his dark curly hair, his cute little moles, his cherry red lips-

Chaeyoung abruptly ended the FaceTime. Chaeyoung, what are you DOING. Why are you thinking like that?!? she thought.

She knew why.

Look, y-you can't. You're not.

The problem was... she couldn't help herself.

She was falling for him. And deep down, even though she didn't want to admit it, even though she didn't want to feel that way, she knew.

Jungkook woke up, startled. He looked around trying to process what was going on.

He then relaxed at looked at his phone. He checked to see if he had any notifs from Chaeyoung. There was none. He tried not to think about it much. Instead he had one message from from Namjoon, one from Hoseok and several from Jimin and Jin and Somi.
