Chapter 2

I looked at the man and he pushed me out of the way. He ran into the kitchen where my family had been eating. I heard three gun shots and the man ran out of the house leaving me there with my dead family. I walked into the kitchen, blood was up the walls and my family was there. Mum was laying on the ground a bullet through her heart, dad was laying on the ground too with a bullet through his brain, and Greg had his head on the table and had a bullet through him too. I fell on the ground crying as Liam walked in.

"NIALLER!" he screamed walking up to me. He got his phone out of his pocket and dialled the police and ambulance. I just sat there crying, Liam came over to me and picked me up holding me in his arms. I buried my head into his neck and balled my eyes out. What just happened? Why me? Who was that guy?!

The police and ambulance came. The ambulance picked up my family and took them. The police was investigating everything, searching for clues to find out who murdered my family. I was hoping this was a horrible nightmare. I was hoping that I would just wake up and everything would be fine.

"Liam right?" a police office said, Liam nodded still holding me tight.

"Can you keep Niall company we really have no where else to put him," Liam nodded again in agreement. He stood up and I wiggled trying to get free. Liam put me down and I ran upstairs. I grabbed my notebook that my parents just gave me for my birthday 2 days ago. I looked at it. Tears formed in my eyes, I heard someone at the door. Liam. He came in and grabbed my hand comforting me, he walked me out of the room and downstairs into his car.

"I'm letting you skip school today okay Niall?" I didn't answer, I just gazed out the window tears still in my eyes. He didn't bother trying to talk he knew he wouldn't get through to me in this mood. So he just kept driving.

I felt tears falling down my face. Liam pulled up at his place, he ran around to my side opening the door. He picked me up knowing that I wouldn't move and walked inside his house. Liam lives alone because his parents kicked him out when he got a job. He comes to school somtimes, but skips when he has to work.

He layed me down on the couch and said he was going to the school to say that me and him are absent for today. I just layed ther tears still streaming down my face.

Liam left and I was all alone. I do still think this is a nightmare.
