Chapter 39

Kassandra's POV

Mom and Dad came into the hallway with bags full of groceries and clothes. I grabbed some off of them and started to moved everything away. "Dolcezza vuoi dire al gruppo di Kyan?" Mom said.

Translation: Sweety, do you want to talk to the pack about Kyan?

"Sure. I'm also going to announce Dante as my official mate, that's only if you want?" I said, looking at Dante. "I'm down for it." He said.

"Great, everyone's standing outside." Mom said. Mom and Dad walked with Me and Dante outside where all the pack stood patiently. I walked up to the podium and cleared my throat.

"My ex mate, Kyan, cheated on me so I rejected him. I have recently found my second chance mate, Dante. If anyone sees Kyan near the borders, please tell me or your Alpha or Luna. Thank you." I said. Halfway through that speech, I felt Dante slip his hand into mine and squeezed it gently.

"I know half of you here think I'm some blood hungry monster but I can assure you I'm not unless I feel as if you're annoying me." Dante joked. Everyone chuckled and when it died down he said, "No but seriously if I feel unsettled around you, I will rip your head off."

Everyone chuckled nervously. "If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask." Dante said, looking at everyone carefully. Thankfully, no one had any questions.

Can we go for a run?
Sure, Delilah

"Thanks for coming, everyone." I said. I waved and walked off of the stage and walked to a clearing where I stripped off my clothes and shifted into my clothes. Delilah picked up my clothes in her mouth.

I allowed Delilah to run until we reached the lake. She placed my clothes by a massive rock. All the running she did, she ran to the water and drank it quite hungrily. She played around for a bit, mostly just chasing squirrels but didn't succeed in capturing them.

I'm tired, you can have control back now

I chuckled and shifted back. I walked to the rock and changed into my clothes. I checked the time on my phone and saw it was 6. My mom would kick my ass if I was late for dinner again. I tripped over a pebble and hit the floor with a groan. I got up and dusted the dirt off of myself.

I ran to the house and kneeled over, panting. I looked up once my breathing got back to normal and saw Demetri silently laughing at me, clutching his stomach whilst tears silently rolled down his cheeks.

"What?" I growled. "Y-yy-Your face." He said, laughing more. I walked over to a mirror and saw there was Mud caked on my face. Just wonderful. I wiped it off of my face with water.

I was about to walk up the stairs to take a shower when Ace jumped in my arms. I carried him up the stairs with me and placed him down on my bed.

I walked it the bathroom and had a very relaxing shower. Once I was down showering, I walked to my Walk in closet and picked out a white T shirt and green shorts.

I walked downstairs and sat in the middle of Ethan and Elijah. "Hey, where were you?" Ethan said, passing me the Potatoes. "Delilah wanted to go for a run and I forgot to tell you." I said, putting in potatoes for myself.

I passed them to Ethan once I put a fair amount in. "Just remember to tell us next time, Dolcezza." Dad said. "Don't worry, I will Dad." I said, smiling.

Once dinner was finished, I walked to the Gym with Elijah. We did our usual routine and did 75 lifts on the push up bar each. Once I finished my lifts, I walked to get water, which was on the other side of the room, whilst Elijah jumped on the bar, already starting his lifts.

I grabbed my water bottle and walked to the speaker and typed in our favourite song. Cake by the Ocean started to play and I saw Elijah grin.

"Is the door locked?" Elijah said. "Yeah." I said. "And 5,6,7, 8." I said. We both secretly enjoyed dancing but would never mention it to anyone.
We began dancing ( I don't know anything about dancing so I'm gonna skip).

Toward the end of the song, Elijah picked me up by my waist and twirled me around. We began laughing once the song was done and goofed around for a while.
