Ch7

Plagg was woken by the sensation of large hands shaking his small, fuzzy body, rocking the kwami from side to side. Plagg yawned, slowly opening his emerald cat eyes. Plagg growled with a frustrated look at his owner, covering his face with his long, slender tail.

"Plagg, come on! Wake up!"

Plagg glimpsed Adrien's annoyed face, peering down at him and twitched his ear dismissively. "No thanks."

Adrien furrowed his brows in frusturation. "plagg!"

"Leave a message at the tone." Plagg flashed his tiny fangs in a cheeky grin.

His owner groaned. "Seriously?"

The lazy cat didn't budge. "Does it look like i'm kidding?"

The blondr grunted, running a nervous hand through his blonde hair. "Plagg! I'm going to be late for school!"

Plagg blinked. The words held more importance then he remembered last time. But why?

As soon as the thought entered his sleepy mind, Plagg stiffened. Now I remember!

Last night he had a hard time falling asleep because the thought of a certain ladybug kwami had kept him up with a strange excitement. Now that Ladybug and Chat Noir knew eachother's identities, him and Tikki could meet eachother- At school..

That was it! His dark fur tingled and he jumped out of bed in excitement, startling Adrien.

Adrien Lept back, blinking in surprise.

Plagg blinked, meeting his owner's shocked gaze. "Come on Adrien! You don't want to be late for school, do you?"

Adrien folded his arms. "What's up with you today? You have never shown any interest in School, never."

Plagg shrugged. "Wait? You... you think that-? Oh no! I don't like school, never have, never will! But There will be no convincing you otherwise so I might as well obey."

He, glanced nervously, flicking his tail. Again, Adrien was filled with confusion. Plagg knew the kid better than anyone else so he knew what Adrien was thinking, even if they wern't magically connected at the moment.

*Plagg being obedient? What in the world is going on here?*

Plagg snorted. "Just go."

Adrien shook himself to clear his confusion. if Plagg was in a good mood today, he might as well make the most of it.

"Ok." he shrugged. "Come on Plagg, I want to meet Mari halfway."

Plagg blinked. "Are you sure that she won't be at school already? We're almost late."

Adrien shook his head, with a soft amused smile. "Oh there's no doubt about it Plagg. She always arrives practically after the bell rings. Usaually carrying a croisant and stumbling with her books..."

He laughed softly at the memory, then shook his head. "So uh yah, let's er go." he blushed, embarrassed that he had blurted so much about Marinette to Plagg. Expecting to be teased.

Plagg dived into Adrien's blue school bag as they left the room. He cocked his head thoughtfully, understanding his boy's emotional state for teh first time.

But of course, He had to tease him about it still, or Adrien would find out about his kwami's crush. Plagg didn't want to risk it. But he would definetly have a harder time keeping his cool and acting normal around Tikki...

He flicked his tail nervously, ears flat and cheeks pink.

Plagg shook his head, still inside the bag. Get yourself together Plagg!
