"Ring! Ring! Ring" goes the bell that immediately wakes me up from my slumber. I look around remembering my location.
"Mrs Waters." My teacher says raising an eyebrow.
"Yes.?" I respond.
"I don't allow sleeping in my class, next time I catch you sleeping it's after school detention for you." She says firmly.
"Yes ma'am." I reply and race for the exit. Still running I arrive at my locker and sigh. School is dumb. I glance at my schedule
Calculus 2
great. just fantastic.
im in advance math, my sister calls me a geek but I don't care. I don't even know why I'm in this class. Most of the time I don't even try but yet I get a passing grade. I snatch my things and make my way into the classroom as the late bell rings.
"Late." I hear an unfamiliar voice direct to me. I sneakily find a seat next to the girl.
"Class, we have a new student! Cat•er•rine" he tries to pronounce.
"Um...it's catherine" I say quietly.
"Cat•er•rine would you like to say anything about yourself to the class?"
he says ignoring my correction.
"N-n-no" I stutter nervously.
"Yes? Oh come on up here you'll be alright I don't bite." He says ignoring every word I say. I swear if he says my name wrong one more time I'm gonna strangle him.
"Fuck." I mumble.
"Good luck cat•er•rine" the girl says laughing softly. I glare and walk to the front of the room.
"Hello my name is Catherine, im better off doing things alone than with a partner. I'm a quick thinker I used to live in North Caroline until I moved down here. I like to observe things artistically instead of the way ordinary people think. Let me be free and we won't have trouble." I say and sit back down in my seat.
"That was a very..interesting speech mrs waters." The teacher spoke.
"Thank you." I reply simply.
"Why are you so interested in me mysterious person?" I say to the girl to my right.
"You're different." She replies.
"How would you know?" I respond, eyebrow raised.
"I just...know." She says.
"Okay.." I say.
"I'm Meghan" she says revealing her name.
"Nice to meet you meghan." I say blankly. I observe her flawless features. Brunette/blonde Ombré hair, blue eyes, freckles. She just smiles and fixes her teal dress.
"I'm feeling a friendship vibe coming on." She says awkwardly. I laugh a little and freeze. Did she say...friendship. I haven't had a real friendship in years, I bite my lip nervously.
"What's wrong?" She says bubbly.
"Nothing, just thinking." I say and reassure her with a fake smile. I turn to to look at the teacher but then the bell rings.
"See you around?" She says and hugs me.
"Uh yeah.!" I say quickly.
Meghan seems to be a very friendly person, who can make friends fast.
I smiled to myself and began to walk to my next class.
"Hello Catherine." Matt spoke slyly while standing in my path.
"What do you want now.." I say annoyed.
"Does there have to be a reason for me to say hello?" He replies. I take one look at him and walk around him.
"Wait!" He bellows. "See you in class." He added.
"See you in class?" I say confused and walk to Art. Almost immediately I spot Matt lounging in the back row.
"Oh god." I mumble and sigh heavily.
I swear he's stalking me
