surreal || espinosa fanfic

I slide in my bed and try to fall asleep. But I can't seem to fall asleep so I look out my window and view the great big sea. The sounds of the waves crashing and rising. It's dark but the stars are glimmering in the violet/black sky. I breathe in the salty air and slump back into my bed. My eyes drifting off into a deep slumber. As im sleeping I find myself dreaming....dreaming about

Matt.

and everyone else.

I walk into the Art room where I'm meeting matt to work on our project. Paintbrush in hand I twist the doorknob and open the room. I flicker on the lights and pick the perfect spot to start painting. As soon as I pick it out I walk over to the supply closet to look for blank canvas.

Locked.

Quietly i borrow the key from the teacher's desk and unlock the door. Immediately I see matt and he's not alone. He's making out some blonde slut on the table. My mouth drops and I drop the keys.

"C-catherine" he says pushing the girl away.

"Babe who is this loser." The girl says in disgust. Tears rushing down my face I sprint out of the room. Matt's voice fading away as I run faster.

I can't believe he would do this to me. I thought he was different. I scream in frustration and throw my paint brush. I looked around and found myself at the beach. Shakily, I hug my knees and cry softly. This dream was turning into a nightmare. I pinched myself hoping I would wake up any minute.

"CATHERINE" I hear Andrea calling me waking me out of this nightmare. I shoot up out my bed.

"You were screaming and yelling." She says looking at me worriedly.

"It's just a dream I had." I say and get up from my bed.

"Well okay, get ready for school duckling." She says bopping my nose. I scrunch my nose and get ready for school. I put on denim jeans, a pink camisole, a nude colored cardigan, and black vans.

Quickly applying foundation, mascara, and 'Cherry Me' baby lips. Next I eat breakfast and say goodbye to my mom and Andrea.
