I was just about to start when it hit me "Wait.....why would I tell my story to someone I barely know?" I say out of nowhere. Immediately I stand up and cross my arms.

"You can trust me you know." He says calmly.

"You're a jock, a player I don't want to associate with you." I spat running away.

"Catherine!" He yells chasing after me.

"Leave me alone." I say and sprint home not looking back.

I put on my best smile before opening the door.

"How was your first day Cat?" Andrea says once I walk through the door.

"Great." I reply and throw my sling bag on the couch.

"I want details!" She squeals. I tell her about everything leaving out Matt.

"Maybe you can go over to Quinn's house?" She suggests.

"Nah. It's too early for that..." I respond.

"I want you to make friends I'm not always gonna be there every moment, Catherine." Andrea says with worried eyes.

"Fine. I'll go to Quinn's house." I reply giving up.

"Yay! Now go get ready." She smiles and whips her ponytail. I walk upstairs, forgetting about the previous events.

I throw on skinny jeans and a sweatshirt then walk back downstairs. Finally I say bye to my sister and begin to walk to Quinn's house with a box filled with brownies. My sister said it isn't polite to go empty handed. Not long after I begin walking I hear someone yelling my name. Immediately I know it's matt and I start walking faster.

"Catherine!" He shouts hoping I would reply. I ignore him and sprint to her house. Out of breathe I ring Quinn's doorbell repeatedly.

"Who's thereeeee?" I hear her perky voice ask.

"CATHERINE NOW OPEN UP." I yell loudly banging on the door. Soon she opens the door "damn chilllll-oooh brownies please come in." She says clapping her hands. Once I get settled in her cozy house she asks

"Hi catherine....just asking but why are you here?"

"My sister suggested it."

"Ohhhh okay. I rarely get visitors." She responds while shoving a brownie in her face. Immediately we look at the door and hear someone banging on the door.

"I'll get it." Quinn says standing up. She opens door revealing Matt.

"Is Catherine here?" He asks. I give her hand signals, signaling 'im not here'.

"Yes-wait no she's choking wait she's mad oh shes really mad." Quinn says to Matt. He walks in and looks at me specifically me.

"What do you want matt?" I speak.

"Just to tell you this." He says.

"And what is 'this' you speak of?"

"One day you'll fall in love with me and im going to tell you I told you so." He says, a huge smirk wiped across his face.

"In your dreams Espinosa. Wipe the smile off your face and grow up please." I respond standing up.

"Whatever you keep saying that to yourself." He says getting closer to me.

"Maybe I will." I reply taking a step back. He presses me against the wall and lightly brushes my lips.

"Goodbye Catherine." He smiles innocently leaving Quinn's house.
