     Vengeance. Not in a deadly way like your father, if he were in a similar predicament, would have undoubtedly schemed in the past, not like that at all. You didn't have his guidance for that, and, consequently, you didn't have the willpower. Loki was gone by then.

Despite everyone's efforts in addition to your own, Thanos was able to carry out the rest of his plans. Half of the universe was reduced to ashes. The only family that you had left was Thor, and he was a changed man, to say the least.

You, the God of Sorcery, had tasked yourself with fitting into the shoes of a hero and doing good for the people of New Asgard. Ironic that that would include the king himself. Even though Thor drank away five years cooped up at home, he still had the nerve to try to take responsibility for you.

While escaping his watchful gaze, you enhanced your magic abilities and bettered yourself spiritually. You learned about earthly routines. You wrote in your ever-expanding grimoire, mainly through honoring your father's legacy. It was five years of this that led to a visit from Bruce Banner and Rocket, a regrouped plan, and a ticket to the Soul Realm.

I do not own anything affiliated with Marvel, including characters and plots for the movies Avengers: IW and Avengers: Endgame. Concepts for the reader belong to me, as do their dialogue and any other original dialogue used. The plot within the Soul Realm is primarily mine, but aspects from Endgame's storyline have been incorporated. Thus, there will be spoilers for Endgame.

This is a story taking place in an alternate universe in which you, the reader, are Loki's child and the dusted people now exist within the Soul Stone. This place is called the Soul Realm. However, the dusted don't undergo any changes that would occur in the five years that they're gone; it's as if they're suspended in time.

Some minor details in the Thor movies would be changed because of the reader's heritage, but please keep in mind that I haven't revamped the timeline perfectly. And, due to the age of the godly characters (Thor and Loki being about 1050 years old and the reader being about 450), I decided that the reader's character's mentality and maturity (i.e. romantic ideals) align with their appearance of a teenager/young adult.

This story is written in second person point of view with gender-neutral pronouns. However, I do realize that some terms like Lokison vs. Lokisdottir or God vs. Goddess are hard to incorporate neutrally, so I'll be using Lokison and God since it's more general. Dialogue is also much more fun if you read your lines with an accent! Constructive criticism is welcome and feedback is encouraged and appreciated.
