We pulled up to the order menu and the speaker clicked on. Finally receiving our orders, we got them at the window. A strawberry creme frappuchino and caramel mocha passed through the car and back to the boys. Then came a green tea smoothie back to Blake with a shot of caffeine to waken her up and I got a Strawberry creme frappuchino with 2 shots of black berry syrup just because it makes drink blue and it looks really cool. We all snacked on our drinks as we journeyed to Florida.
Though out the 4 hours ride there where multiple fights, one including Logan taking Blake's phone. Which caused Blake, being the aggressive white girl she is, to almost cross the wall of seats in between them to get it back. Lets just say Logan is gonna have that handprint on his cheek for a long time. There was a toll bridge we had to cross at one point and the dude couldn't hear mom over all the noise so she just threw the money at the window and sped of, almost breaking the bar the kept her from going through. I also caught Logan staring at me through the rear view mirror. His big blue eyes were sparking so intensely they almost looked photo shopped.
We had about 10 more minutes till we reached the destination.
"You have reached your final destination" beeped the GPS.
The music seemed to be planned to play at the right time; the gradually forming song "summer" by Calvin Harris played as I looked up. My reaction perfectly in synced to the beat.
My eyes widened. Passing from all the bland white sand dunes was and explosion of color. The water was a gorgeous emerald turquoise blue, and boats dotted out over the bay. There where people out every where with the most boats gathered in the middle. There where 4 or five boats in particular that had signs and what look like a porch and window. one said "Ice cream" on it others said "hamburgers".
"OH MY GOSH , they have floating Icecream shops" I half-yelled.
To my right there where seagulls diving at fish swimming below the emerald surface. Black fins broke the water as the little dolphins came up for air. Beside the Jetties there where plastic sticks poking out beside the rocks as snorkelers explored the underwater paradise.
At the end of the bridge was a gorgeous hotel standing out of all the other. It's burnt orange, sand and dark green colors reflected the sun. It was square all the way around high and low. The 2 seperate towers where connected at the bottom. In front was a dock. A very colorful dock at that. There where many tour boats, and yachts floating between giant wooden posts.
The hotel shot out of sight as we made it over the end of the bridge. Riding throughout the city, there where lots of restaurants and souvenir shops scatters over the plain. The vehicle turned a corner and out appeared the hotel again. There was a big sign that read the Hampton village in large dark letters. We drove down the road and into a small parking lot. To small for a hotel this size. in front of us there was a margaritavile on the edge of the water. Zip lines towers where every where. To the right, my sight of the dock was covered by small stands and shops. it kinda of looked like a carnival because off the striped colored roofs, and people everywhere. I opened my door and stepped out I to the hot asphalt. Taking a deep breath, the smell of chlorine and salt filled my nose. A smile covered my face as I walked to the truck of the car to get my stuff. Everyone had already lugged their bags from the back, waiting on me to do the same.
Yanking and tugging my suitcase it finally slid out and hit the ground with a loud thump.
"Alright kids we are gonna meet my very close friend before we go to our room in about to call her and see where she is she has already book our room for us. I want you all of you to thank her because she is the reason we got to come. She got us a deal on our hotel room and everything."
