Chapter 13: Tied Relationship

3rd person's POV

Akutagawa was saved by the Black Lizards and Higuchi, he was now talking with Higuchi saying sorry at her for the trouble but Higuchi said it was her job as his subordinate. They returned back to the headquarters and brought Akutagawa back to his position. Akutagawa tried to get up but Higuchi stopped him or his wound will open. "(y/n)... I n-need her! Weretiger *cough* tried... to take her awa- *cough*"

"Senpai! (y/n)-san is safe, Boss commanded the Black Lizard to make sure she returns... she is with Nakahara-kanbu (executive)."

"Her... admirable superior, huh? *cough* *cough* (y/n)..." Akutagawa lay back on his bed and looked away from Higuchi, his subordinate frowned in sadness. "Higuchi... can you get the Black Lizards?"

"Understood, senpai." Higuchi said before walking away to get his wish. "Black Lizards, senpai called for you three."

They nodded and entered the infirmary before closing the door, Gin was the first to speak. "Nii-san, what is it?"

"(y/n)... I want to see her."

"Akutagawa-kun, you heard Higuchi. She is with Nakahara-kun."

"I need (y/n)."

"Akutagawa no aniki... (y/n) no aneki doesn't want to see you like this."

"Shut-*cough* up!" Akutagawa hissed weakly and everyone around him frowned, he eventually felt dizzy. "(y/n)..."

"Ryu!" The girl Akutagawa was looking for opened the door, only to see Akutagawa already in his sleep. She felt tears trailing down her cheeks as she slowly walked towards Akutagawa. Behind her was Chuuya with an expressionless face from the jealousy taking over his heart with a big squeeze, it hurt him. The black Lizard bowed to him but he just covered his eyes with his hat and exited the room along with them, leaving (y/n) and Akutagawa in the room. (y/n) held Akutagawa's hand and leaned it near her cheeks as she squeezed her eyes, not wanting to see him like this. "Ryu... I'm sorry. *sob* I'm sorry for breaking my promise to stay with Boss."

"(y/n)..." She heard his voice and felt his hand returning a grip, she look up and to see Akutagawa with a tired face but his eyes were happy. Akutagawa held the back of her neck and leaned her making their forehead touch, the girl sighed in happiness. Before Akutagawa went back to sleep, he whispered at her. "I'm glad you're safe, (y/n). Stay..."

"Ryu... I'm home." She kissed his forehead and back away before exiting the room. There she saw the Black Lizards and Chuuya leaning on the wall, his eyes covered with the hat's shadow. Higuchi was on a chair looking at (y/n) with a serious face, (y/n) frowned. "Thank you... Ryu-jii, Micchan and Gin. Especially Higuchi-kun, for not giving up."

"Where were you?!" Higuchi walked towards (y/n) and was about to slap her. But Tachihara grabbed her wrist and Gin put a knife near her neck, Hirotsu walked towards between (y/n) and Higuchi before glaring at her. "Where was she when senpa-"

"Higuchi-kun, don't you dare. I guess someone forgot to remind you." He stated with a calm voice but his next words were threatening like a poisonous words. "This is the order from the boss to the whole mafia before you came, protect the Port Mafia's Doll. So... if you dare to lay a finger on her, we won't hesitate to kill you. Now... do you remember our conversation today after you talked with boss? Boss will terminate you, not now but maybe tomorrow. Lucky you, that you went to save Akutagawa-kun that everyone is thinking of trusting you. But hurting the Doll isn't the best choice before you get terminated, you'll be executed before you could even leave... all because of a single scratch on young (y/n) that you gave."

"Ha?! Why?!"

"Nee-san... if you're going to be executed, I'm sure Akutagawa no aniki will be the one to do it. After all, everyone can see it... how that black beast with him will devour for their promise or the beast in aniki." Tachihara spoke with closed eyes before opening it with half hearted eyes yet serious. Higuchi wanted to talk back but she could feel the blade nearing more, Tachihara changed his expression within a second and looked at (y/n) with a blissful smile. "(y/n) no aneki, we'll take care of her so... aneki can go to Akutagawa no aniki's."
