Confront

I woke up to a slight throbbing pain surging in my head. Leaning my head on the bed stand,I stared out of the window. Memories of yesterday night flashed through my mind and I felt the pain increase in my head. Clutching my head in my hand I cried, "Damn".

It was already 11 and there was no sign of Mrs.Allison or the breakfast.

I badly needed a cup of coffee to soothe down my nerves and I guess I have to go down myself to get one.Quickly taking a bath,I grabbed my Jeans and plain white blouse. Tieing my hair in a messy bun,I was ready for day. Fashion and trends were never my cup off tea.I was in exact contrast to Ester who loved dressing up and experimenting with her looks.While for me I liked keeping things simple.

Walking into the kitchen, I saw Mrs.Allison cutting vegetables. "Good Morning", I greeted her.

Hearing my voice she turned towards me and then checked her watch, "Good morning", she's greeted me back with a smile. I could feel my checks flush with my embarrassment as it was already afternoon.

"I had come to your room Maam with breakfast. But I guess you were sleeping", she said.

"Ya I kind of slept late yesterday", I replied in a sheepish tone.

"Would you like to eat anything", Mrs Allison asked again.

"No", I replied "But a cup of coffee would do".

"Ok", she replied.

Taking my coffee I headed out towards the garden. Keeping myself holed up in that room was making me go insane and I needed some fresh air to make my mind relax. Cool air breezed through my air and I instantly felt relaxed. I inhaled in taking in the fragrance of the freshly blossomed tulips. I could feel my head lighten and the head ache magically disappeared.

I still had my eyes closed when I heard a familiar voice. My head snapped in the direction of the voice and there he was standing, talking on his phone, his back facing mine. I quickly ran and hid behind a tree. After yesterday I didn't wanted another encounter with him. Deciding to go back to my room, as it seemed to be the safest option then, I suddenly stopped in my tracks when I heard a familiar name.I strained my ear to hear his conversation.

"Do as I say Jack and you will be safe", I heard him say.

My eyebrow furrowed as I tried remembering where did I heard this name.Realization hit me as I remembered Jack, Ester's boyfriend.

I carefully moved nearer to him, wanting to hear his conversation now. Because I knew he was again upto something evil.

"Yes, Jack I want you to fire her and you and company is safe". My mouth hung open as I realized what he was talking about Ester. He was blackmailing Jack to remove her from the job. Anger surge through me and I was determined to stop him this time.

"Aaron", I yelled marching towards him. He looked a bit suprised to see me, but soon the blank look returned to his face and he turned back and started walking.

"Aaron stop", I yelled as I ran past him and stood in front of him.

"What hell you think you are doing?", I half yelled angrily. I saw him close his eyes as if he was trying to control himself. Without saying anything  he started walking past me again. But this time, I gripped his arm pulling him and forcing him to look at me.

"You just can't run away without answering my question", I said

"I told you to stay away from me", he said clenching his teeth, anger evident on his face.

"I won't, not unless you stop behaving like a jerk", I snapped.

He opened his mouth to say something, but I cut him off.  "What do you think of yourself? Why don't you stop interfering in peoples life and stop ruining it. First you forced me into this marriage and now you are blackmailing Jack to fire Ester", I yelled.My face had become red with all the yelling and I was now out of breath.

"Thats none of your buisness what do", he spat, causing another wave of anger rise in me.

"Of couse it is", I snapped. "Ester is my friend and I won't let you ruin her life". I saw him clench his fist at my words.

A moment of silence passed between us before I continued again, "You know what Aaron I felt bad for what Ester did to you but now I thing she dumped you for good because you are nothing but a psycho".

I felt him grip my arm as he pulled me towards him.His eyes screamed anger as it burrowed in me. I could feel my myself tremble but gathering enough courage I stared back. I didnt wanted him to know that I was scared. He pulled me even further close as he whispered in my ear. "You don't know what I m going to do with you. This is just the beginning". I felt his grip tughten around as he spoke each and everyword causing pain shot through my arm.

He pushed me away from him, causing foot to twist and I stumbled and fell on the ground. My fist clenched as I saw his receeding figure. I closed my eyes, trying to prevent the tears from spilling. I won't cry, I wont cry for this jerk.
