It was a beautiful day at the prison. Andrea had come home for good this time and Merle was still a part of the group, whether they all wanted him there or not. After all, they didn't have a choice if they wanted Daryl to stay in the group. If Merle was kicked out, Daryl was going to go with him. He was his brother. Wherever Merle went, Daryl normally went too. They didn't understand the loyalty Daryl had for Merle, except for maybe Andrea. She'd been very close to her sister, Amy, until she'd been bitten by a walker. She would've walked through fire for her little sister. She knew it was the same thing with Merle and Daryl. Perhaps more than that.

Ric was keeping an eye out for any trouble, staying on top of the tower with a rifle, which had a scope mounted on it. Someone had to always be keeping an eye on things. Nobody knew what the Governor would do. He was capable of anything. They wouldn't put it past him to attack the prison just for spite or to take back Andrea. The Governor was more dangerous than anyone else they'd encountered over the years the apocalypse had been going on for.

After finding out that the Governor was going to attack full force, they packed up and made it look empty.

An hour later, the Governor came, gunning down some walkers and part of the prison. It seemed empty, but they checked out the dark hallways anyway.

When they came back outside, they were open fired at, so they left.

When the Governor saw the truck stopped on the side of the road, he got out of his pickup. That's when those accusing it being a slaughter, he shot, killing them. He didn't know that a girl hid under one of the bodies though, and he drove off.

When Ric and the others left the prison, agreeing that they should finish the job, they stopped at the sight of the dead bodies. They also saw the girl whom had survived and willingly told them what had happened.
