The teens slept until noon of the next day, their bodies sore and aching from chasing the car and getting arrested. Ivi still has no idea why she fainted, but Sam didn't tease her about it. Mostly because he knew she could get him back for having to take a drug test, but also because they had seen something so weird. She wasn't even sure if she had seen what she had seen. Her eyes had been pretty swollen from crying. Ivi bit her lip as she applied some makeup to hide the bruise on her face. Will couldn't be gone, she had told herself. She would have felt it; at least that was the subject of her silent wishes. He was just lost, that had to be it. Maybe he hadn't even arrived at the base at all, and was still doing his mission. That didn't help her nerves either, as he wasn't exactly known for going on simple tasks. Still, Ivi knew she needed to be distracted, and it was probably the only reason her parents were letting her go out with her friends. It wasn't like she would be gone all day, they were just going to eat lunch together. The girl pulled on a red blouse and white jeans, finishing off her outfit with some boots. All the girl cared to do was brush her dark hair, anything else would have required more effort than she wanted to give. Then, she headed out the house, waving goodbye to her parents as she walked. The pity on their faces stung like a petty bee, but Ivi let it go as she walked down their street. The cafe wasn't too far, and now she didn't have a car, so walking would have to do. As she was only a block away, a cop sounded their siren for just an instant. Uh...
She turned around and saw the young cop from the hospital. Her heart leapt to her throat for no reason; she hadn't done anything after all. "You up to no good?" He asked, a half smile on his face.
Ivi smiled back only out of awkwardness, otherwise she might have given him a sarcastic comment. He did kind of deserve it, pulling by her and harassing her. He's not harassing me, she told herself. "No, of course not," Ivi stammered, hoping that he would just leave her be.
The cop nodded and asked, "Where are you going?"
"Just to a place on the next street."
"Want a ride?"
Her stomach did flips as Ivi hesitantly shook her head. She definitely did not need to show up in the back of a cop car to meet her friends. That would only make things more embarrassing than the bruise on her face. "Stay out of trouble," he warned.
Ivi only smiled and walked away. Normally, she could sweet talk people, but with the cop that had not only pointed a gun at her and handcuffed her to a hospital bed -not to mention he saw her pass out- she wasn't exactly smooth at the moment. Besides, she lacked the energy to fake a sweet smile. Her whole body had goosebumps as she realized he was watching her walk away. Slightly scary, Ivi decided, fighting the urge to turn around and look at him. Unfortunately, she did, and he was still there, but his eyes were thankfully not on her. Good. Still, she sped up her pace and arrived at the cafe a couple minutes later.

Officer Kyle Stanton was not a creepy guy, but something was definitely off with the girl he had 'arrested' the other night. Well, that and her eyes were absolutely mesmerizing. It was like staring into the middle of the ocean, with white flecks of sea foam. The gold flecks looked like sunshine hitting the water, and Kyle wasn't sure why he was caught up on some kid's eyes. Obviously, it had been an accident, since their car was definitely still missing, but he couldn't help but be a bit suspicious. The boy had claimed their car stood up after all. The cop parked on the street across from where the girl had met her friends. They were sitting outside, just speaking, when the girl's brother came riding up on a... pink bike. Obviously, he wasn't watching where he was going, because he flipped over the handlebars when the bike hit a crack in the sidewalk and landed on his back. Kyle winced, that had to hurt. His sister was very concerned, especially when he pointed to something behind them. It was their car. Whoever was in it was driving it half on the sidewalk. Kyle got out of the  car about to draw his gun when he saw the girl stand. She and another dark-haired girl got onto a moped before driving after the boy. "Well shit," he muttered before reaching for the handle to his squad car.
But it was locked. The sleek police vehicle took off from where he had parked it. No one was driving it. The cop didn't even realize what had happened until it was out of sight. He was going to be in so much trouble.

"Ivi, what is going on?" Mikaela asked, her eyes flashing angrily as a cop car came cut in front of her when it was her turn to go.
The girl recognized it immediately as the young cop's car, but he wasn't in it. What on earth was going on? "I don't have a clue," she said, holding on tighter as they approached where Sam had disappeared to.
Only for him to come running out and tackling them off the moped. "Ow," Ivi hissed, punching her brother's arm gently.
"What is your problem?!" Her best friend shouted.
"There's a monster right there!" Sam pointed at the giant robot hurtling towards them.
Red eyes. Ivi nearly stopped breathing as Sam tried to console her friend, but she focused again when their car pulled up, knocking the robot down before opening its doors. Ivi dived into the back while the other two got in front; she barely had time to grip the seat when the car screeched off, leading them away from the robot, which had now turned into a police car. The same police car. "Oh god," Ivi breathed deeply as the car jumped through glass and stuff to get away from the other car. "We're going to die!" Mikaela and Sam shouted.
Ivi shared the thought, but her chest was rising and falling at the speed of light. The police car was getting too close. She had to do something. As the Camaro continued speeding along the road, she turned around and focused on pulling the scaffolding and other stuff on the factory building down onto the police car. In a wave of gold light, it worked, and the car was soon surrounded by metal and dust, allowing them time to hide. The Camaro locked its doors and turned off everything as they hid at the end of one of the warehouse corners. They tried to pull at the locks, but they weren't budging. The car wasn't letting them leave. "At least we ditched the monster, right?" Sam half-laughed, but she could see the green on his face.
"Shut up," Ivi hissed, her breathing now at hyperventilating levels.
What about the monster they were sitting in? She pushed the thought away as the Camaro began to turn the key in its ignition. The police car had just passed, and was now stopped, like it was about to reverse back. It did, and the Camaro pulled out in front of it, taking off only to throw them out as it transformed into a yellow and black robot. Just like the colors of the Camaro. Wow, was all she could think as it stepped in front of them, facing the police car like it was protecting them. The other car became a robot as well and tackled the yellow one, and thus began the cluster of fighting that was their current predicament. The three kids dove out of the way as a smaller silver robot jumped out of the police car and hurtled toward them. "Ahh! Get it off of me!" Sam yelled like a little car as it clawed at him.
While Mikaela's back was turned, Ivi used her power and threw the robot off her brother. It was gross. It came back over and over, eventually pulling her brother's pants off, revealing his boxers, which she totally didn't need to see. In one final assault, Mikaela picked up a saw and cut its head off, successfully ending that struggle. It seemed the bigger robots were done too, as the yellow one stood atop the hill, watching them walk back up. "It's a robot," Sam whispered.
Ivi got him, rolling his eyes at the statement. No, it was a dog. He got the message and stammered, "I mean, like a super advanced robot. It's probably Japanese."
As if that was any better. Although, for Sam, it was an improvement. They moved closer, and the robot stared at them. "I think it wants something from me," Sam said.
"What?" Mikaela hissed, trying to pull him back, but she was ignored.
"The other one said something about my eBay page."
Ivi looked at her friend, and tensed as the girl looked like she was about to pull her own hair out. "You are the strangest boy I have ever met!" Mikaela said in disbelief.
"Can you talk?" Sam asked the robot, even though neither of them was ready to talk to their car.
"XM Satellite Radio, Digital cable, Columbia Broadcasting System," It garbled our through what seemed to be the radio.
"So you talk through the radio?"
No duh, Sam. That's what he just said. "Thank you, you're beautiful!" The robot clapped in an almost mocking way.
Ivi smiled, she was starting to like him a little bit. "So, what was that last night?" She asked, stepping up next to Sam.
Their Camaro looked at her with electric blue...eyes? Its gaze was heavy, but inquisitive. Still, Ivi felt her breathing stop for just a microsecond as it watched her. Then, it pointed up. "Message from Starfleet, Captain... throughout the inanimate vastness of space...angels will rain down like visitors from Heaven, Hallelujah!"
Huh. She nodded, starting to freak out a bit. Their robot car had called to aliens. "So what are you? Like an alien or something?" Mikaela asked, finally joining them.
At her words, the yellow robot turned back into the Camaro and swung its doors wide open. "Anymore questions you'd like to ask?"
Ivi got in without any hesitation. A robot like it had killed her parents, but this one seemed pretty cool. Granted, it had just possibly killed another one of its kind, but it wasn't being mean to them, so she didn't really care. Sam and Mikaela, however, were still outside, whisper arguing until it seemed he convinced her and they climbed in. Then, with only a click of the locks, the Camaro sped off, taking them to god knows where.
