"YOU," Ms. Kasbrak screeched, pointing to all seven losers accusingly while grasping the none fractured arm of Eddie. "You all did this, you know how delicate he is!" She bit out at them, pulling her son toward her car which sat parked by the sidewalk in front of their house.

When they brought Eddie back to his house, Emily had quickly hidden her crossbow and machete in the bushes so Ms. Kasbrak would not catch sight of them. Lord only how she would have reacted had she seen a crossbow tied to Emily's back and a machete stuck to her leg.

In the midst of everything, none of the losers were able to address Emily on why she had all those weapons or why she was dressed like the badass she was. However, they all knew that this was the secret she had been hiding. Despite being more than thankful that Emily had burst in the house when she had, they all could not help but feel a little betrayed at the fact that she was hiding something this big the whole time.

Especially Richie. Yes, Richie understood that Emily was entitled to her secrets and it was probably none of his business, but at the same time, it was apparent Emily had known more about the clown than she was letting on. In both Richie and the others' minds, Emily should have told them when they started talking about the clown.

"We were attacked, M-M-Miss K--" Bill tried to explain as Ms. Kasbrak opened the passenger's door to her car, Eddie getting in while clutching his arm.

"NO!" She snapped as she shut the door to the car, turning her glare to Bill. "Don't try to blame this on anyone else!" She said while fumbling with her car keys which she accidentally dropped.

Emily stood at the very back of the group, never having seen Ms. Kasbrak but having heard plenty of stories from the others on how overbearing and protective she was of Eddie. Not to mention the thousands of jokes Richie made of her weight.

Emily, experiencing Ms. Kasbrak for the first time now understood what all the losers were talking about. She was quite a large woman and was also eerily protective of her son, so much so that she had taken to blaming his injury on his friends.

Standing in her pink tracksuit (a fashion which made Emily want to vomit), Ms. K began bending down to try to collect the fallen car keys. Beverly who was standing just in front of them attempted to reach out and grab them for her, only for Ms. K to hold out her arm as if shielding herself from the Marsh girl.

"GET BACK!" She hollered at Beverly with so much venom it made the red-head jump back.

Snatching her keys from the sidewalk, Ms. Kasbrak leaned in toward Beverly, her hulking form towering over the poor girl. All the others watched with wide eyes, Eddie peering out from the window feeling guilt swirl in his chest with how his mother was treating his friends.

"Oh, I've heard of you Miss Marsh," Ms. Kasbrak sneered down at Beverly. "And I don't want a dirty girl like you touching my son." She had a look of pure repulse on etched on her face as she glared at Beverly whose expression saddened from the horrible insult.

The other losers all felt anger at Ms. Kasbrak picking on Beverly like that, but none more than Emily who clenched her fist. However, the teenage girl swallowed her anger deciding that she should take a more responsible approach as she was the oldest (which was surprising as Emily is by no means responsible.)

Stepping through her friends, Emily thought that maybe she could calm Ms. Kasbrak down as she tried to explain what happened.

"Ms. Kasbrak--" Emily tried in a calm tone, but Ms. Kasbrak would hear none of it.

"Who the hell are you?" Her eyes squinted in disgust as she took in what the girl was wearing. "You're taking in strays now?" That comment was directed at Bill, the boy's eyes only widening at the monster of a woman.
