Chapter 3: In Love

February 13, 2012...

The next day, Irene woke up because of Peggy. She smiled as the two played. "Hungry?" She asked as the dog took her ball, looking at Irene. "Let's play later, Peg. We need breakfast." She said as she went downstairs. Hmm, di pa gising sina Mom at Papa. She said as she took a pan, and opened the fridge. Bacon, Eggs, and Egg rice for breakfast. She thought as she started cooking.

Then she felt arms on her waist. "Good morning, bunso." She smiled as she lower the heat, "Good morning din ate." She said, "Yum, favorite egg rice." She said as she took a spoon and took a spoonful of it. "Di pa rin nagbabago. The best pa din." She marked as her sister just smiled.

Soon the two prepared the table, as Jade made an orange juice for them. As they finished, "Honey, ang Sarap naman non." Their dad said, as their parents came downstairs. "Jade? Irene?" They smiled as the two hugged them. "Oh na miss ko mga angels ko." Their dad said as they have family hug. "Mas namiss ka namin papa." Irene said, "And nagluto si Irene. Let's eat." Jade said.

Soon, before eating, they prayed to the Lord for this day. "Irene, mukhang tinalo mo na si Papa mo sa cooking." They all laughed at her Mother, but the three agreed. "How's the contest?" Their dad asked, "Dad, golden buzzer." Jade said as they cheered. "Congratulations anak, so proud of you both." They said, then Peggy touched Irene. "Sigeh, wait lang Peggy." She said, seeing her dog just finished eating. The dog went to the next seat beside her and laid there. "Namiss kaniya." Jade said, as Irene pet Peggy.

After 15 minutes of walk, the two went back home, as Irene got ready. After shower, and dying herself, her phone buzzed. She looked at it, and smiled.

Denmark: Hello, good morning, ahy good evening pala. Musta diyan?

Irene: Hello, good morning sayo. OK lang. Ikaw? Asan ka?

Denmark: OK din, miss na kita. Papunta ako sa Jollibee.

Irene: Gosh, ikaw talaga. Miss na din kita. Ingat ka.

The two started texting as Irene as she got ready. "San punta mo anak?" Her mom asked, "Ma, sa Jollibee lang. Dun sa Baliuag. Then punta ako sa school, 12 pm to 3 pm, may class pa ako. Punta ka clinic?" She asked as she nodded. "Yes sweetie, madaming patient ngayon eh." She said, her Mama is a dentist as she have a clinic at Baliuag. "Sabay ka na." She said, "Ma, may gustong makita si Irene." Her sister said before they are out the door.

"Si Denmark ba?" She blushed, as she nodded. Her parents and also his parents know each other, for they once have a dinner together. The two families also know their feelings for each other.

Then, her Mama dropped her to the Jollibee as she kissed her cheeks. "Baby, uuwi ka na or Sabay tayo?" She asked, "Sabay tayo, ma." She said as they said goodbye, and drove away. Irene didn't inform Denmark about that she is already in Bulacan as she plan to surprise him. As she went inside the Jollibee, she saw him, there at the counter.

She took a seat next to a window, but abit far at the counter. She looked at him, who is smiling at the costumer. Then she saw a waiter, "Sir." She called as he went to her. "Sir, can I speak to Mr. Denmark Constantine." He nodded as he went to the counter.

From her sight, she saw him walking towards her. As she faced him, he was shocked but happy. "Irene..." She smiled as he hugged her. She gasped but hugged him back. "Kailan ka pa umuwi?" He asked as he cupped her cheeks. "Kagabi lang." She said, as he smiled.

"Kailan balik niyo?" He asked as they talked. "Wait for the text pa. Pero golden buzzer." She said as they cheered. "See, sabi ko sayo eh. Fighting lang." He said as he rubbed her hand.

"Free ka ba bukas ng gabi?" He asked as she nodded. "Pero, may class ako bukas 7-4." She said as he nodded. Tomorrow is Valentine's day. "Sunduin na lang kita sa school niyo bukas." She nodded. Soon, Irene leave, for Denmark still needs to work as Irene went to her school, she still have a class 12-3 pm.

As she went inside, students congratulated her, for the golden buzzer as she thanked them. Her class was about first aid, CPR, and how to do in an accident. As always, her teacher will always marked her perfect.

After her class, she took a tricycle and went to her mother's clinic. As she went inside she saw her secretary, Jessie Valenciano. "Hello, maam." Irene said, as she ask greeted her. "Si mama po?" She asked, "Nasa Office niya. Kakatapos lang." She said as she nodded, said thank you and went to her office.

"Knock knock, may I come in?" She peeked at the door as she smiled and let her in. "How's the date?" She blushed, and smacked her, as she was just laughing. "Ma naman!" She said, as her mother just teased her. "Anak, napansin ko. 6 months ka ng nililigawan nice Denmark, kailan mo siya sasagutin?" She asked, "Malapit na." She said and smiled. "Good, sana after 6 years, may apo na ako." She teased as Irene just smacked her. "Ma naman!" She blushed. "Coffee tayo maya, sweetie. Just give me thirty minutes then lezz go." She said, as she took the car keys and went to the car.

After 20 minutes, she saw her mother. "Driver ka ngayon, nak?" She smiled, and nodded. "San tayo ngayon ma?" She asked as she stared the engine. "Starbucks!" They both said in the same time, they just laughed. "Text ko sina Michael at Jade, ano gusto nila." The woman said as the girl drove.

Then they arrive at SM Baliuag Starbucks. Irene's mom, went to the counter. "Miss, isang Java Chip, Caffé Latte, Chocolate Chip Cream, and Cappuccino. All Venti and take Out." She said, as the waitress counted the total price. "That'll be all please ₱ 635." The lady handed her 700 as she get the changed. "Thank you ma." She said as they got inside the car.

As Irene's mom drove back, she kept thinking if what if they become an idol, what life will it be.

Soon, they arrive at home, as they saw the two, watching Marvel's The Avengers. "Dad, Ate, Starbucks." She said as she gave them their drinks. Jade cheered as she drink it. Soon she went upstairs as Peggy is following behind. She changed her clothes to pj's. 

She drink her drink as she looked at her window, with her guitar on her lap. After, playing some songs, she finally finished her drink and went to bed with Peggy, and sleep.
