Day in the life of me

Wild ride

So story time! This actually happened awhile ago, but I need something to write about. 

So I was out riding with Lev and her horse Misty. Lev was in front ( in the saddle) and i was riding behind her on the horses rump. We ended up riding all the way to a near by four wheeler trail where I dismounted and forgot I had no way to get back on. So I do the reasonable thing and found a half falling tree and used it to get high enough to swing onto the horse.  After a tramp in the woods stopping to her Lev pee and running over a sapling, we ended up in a clearing, with a log. Now here's something You should know about Lev, she's a push girl, if she thinks you should try something you'll probably try something. 

" Hey want to jump it?" 

" Not with me on the back, Lev, don't give me that look I'll get down and you can do it." 

" Just try it! You'll be fine."

" No I don-" and she jumped the horse. I stayed on but got off asap so Lev could jump Misty without me . about then I look into the field and I can see a guy walking around, after a second of panic I yell, " Hey kor that you?" 

" Hey Rose! Where's Lev, I only have a couple seconds, I need to grab my sister from dads house." As he said that Lev got Misty going she jumped the log and stopped. Like dead stop, and Lev went up over the horn. I have done that twice in many short riding experience, and lev had been quoting as saying ' I have NEVER done that before' so of course I'm laughing.

" You NEVER do that" 

" Be quite Rose, Hey Kor honey, want to see me jump this?"

" Sure but I've got to get going."  Kor shrugged. So Lev walked Misty around me and into the woods on the other side And jumped Misty again.  She then road up to kor and got down. 

" Rose you want to ride back?" 

" Not really?" 

" Common I'll hold the reins if your scared."

" You won't stop will you?" 

" no" 

So I relented and was on the horse. I was walking her along the woods and Lev told me To try and turn her around , but to not let misty face home because she'll take off. 

guess what happened?

Misty took off like a shot. And (This should be obvious) I had no Fing clue what to do. So I pulled on the reins and shouted for Misty to stop. She didn't. We must have gotten a few gallops in and I look up between the horses ears and see. The fence. 

que terrified screams. 

So what happened next is hard to discribe. Misty turned away from the fence, I stayed my course.I went through the wire fence and landed on the shoulders my head faceing the fence so I flipped 4$$ over tea kettle I broke one wire and bent another out of whack, Misty stoppedabout 12  feet away. Kor and lev came running out of the woods. At this tie I had flipped myself onto my knees and had my head resting on the ground, feeling my neck with one hand. 

" Are you ok Rose?" Kor asked Coming up to me well Lev went to get Misty. 

" What the hell- wheres my glasses?" I look up to see Lev with misty. " Wheres the horse?"

" Rose what did you do with the reins?"

" Reins?- What do you mean?" 

" Rose you broke the reins off the horse" Lev looked slightly impressed. 

Just then Lev' s little sisters came out, Kor fixed up the fence as they helped look of the reins. The eldest found them. 

After Lev begged me not to tell her mom I asked her how we were going to hind the huge scrap on the back. I was not wearing proper riding gear, I was in a tank top and jogging pants.

So i did what any teen does when They do something stupid. I told her mom that I feel into a bush. She believed me, and Lev is just a bit of  a bad influence. but we took care of Misty and hung out on the trampoline until it was time to eat. I then went out to find the other half of the reins. I found the other half and told lev I'd get her another set. so we set up for her to go hoe with me and my big bro, so we could stop at tractor supply to get the reins. We got burger king too. 

All in all a nice near death experience. my doctor was ... upset that i would put my health at risk. 

Just so you know, I do not blame the horse or Lev, I made the bad discussion and I was the one who didn't have enough riding experience to deal with that wrench of a horse.
