The walk up to the third floor was dreadful. Not only because it was the third floor, but because of what I have done.
I have kissed two boys.
In one day.
I felt type disgusted with myself. I'm undecided. I really like Alex, like I really do, but Xavier is doing everything he can to prove to me that he has changed. And he's doing a great job at it.
I finally made it to dance club.
"So what happened with Xavier?" Aimee asked. I know she was mad at me for even thinking about giving him another chance. He did try to kiss her, so I would be pretty pissed too.
"He told me how he changed, and that he's willing to fight for me, blah, blah, blah." I said while I set my bookbag down. "Can we not talk about it? I just really need to dance."
"Fine with me." Mayah said. "So what happened between your little boyfriends?"
I got on the floor to start stretching. "I should definitely be asking you the same thing. I knew you had a thing for Alexander. No matter how many times you denied it."
"You like him? Like, like, like him?" I asked her.
She stopped her stretching, and thought for a moment.
"I mean...how did you not expect me to have feelings for a guy I've been bothering for about two years." She said hesistantly. "Let's just start to dance. Where's the teacher?"
"Let's just practice until he gets here." I said.
We started to practice the dance we made to Kotch by RDX. I saw how Mayah was really shy to letting out her feelings, just like me. I saw it ran in the family. I mean, of course, I was better at showing it than her. But when she admitted it, she was hesistant to say it. Almost like she didn't want to say she liked him.
"Mayah?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you not want to like Alexander?"
She shook her head no.
"Why though? You guys are so cute." Aimee said. "Is it because....?"
Oh Jesus. If it's about what happened with the last boy she liked.....
"Mayah. Believe me. He likes you. Alex told me himself. This isn't a joke."
"A lot of peple lie Kaiya. I need him to tell me. I need words."
"That's why we're hanging out at Alex's place today. And if the teacher doesn't come in right now, we're out."
I saw Mayah's face turn nervous, and a little angry. I don't care what happened with that last boy she liked. Sure, he did tell her he liked her, but then moves away all of a sudden, because it was all a joke to play on her, but not all guys are douchebags. And even douchebags can change. Isn't Xavier an example?
"Are you serious?" Aimee asked.
"Yes I am. Now let's go. Dance teacher isn't coming in today."
We left out in silence. I felt that Mayah was mad at me, but I really could care less. She was gonna accept the fact that she liked Alexander, and she was gonna like it. When we got out the school, Xavier was still there.
I gave him a small wave, and continued to walk to Alex's house. I passed by him, and didn't look back. I wasn't going to fall for this boy. I just couldn't.
"Please...please, don't forget about me. I love you Kaiya. No matter what, I would stay having feelings..."
"Oh my God, I know that!" I screamed.
