"Hey babe, whatcha up to?" Puppy asked, clicking speaker on her phone before she set it down next to the stove as she began to cook.

"Not much, working on an essay, you?" Came Birdie's reply.

"Just making breakfast, Cal and Ash had a late night but I suppose you know that-"

A laugh rang through Puppy's phone and she grinned, "did you see the pics of Michael's eye brows?" Birdie asked.

"Yeah, Mike will be fine though, he's had worse. And as far as Luke standards go, this is super tame."

"Don't remind me." Birdie sighed.

"So anyways, Cal mentioned that Luke's heading out of town for the weekend for a job and I know that you two haven't spent a day apart since-" Puppy cut herself off, "well, I was just thinking you might get lonely so I thought we could do a girls weekend or something."

"Really?!"

"Yeah, I miss you." Puppy smiled.

"Aw I miss you too Puppy, I'd love to have a girls weekend."

"So I'm thinking junk food, face masks and movies."

"I can't wait."

The sound of Ashton coming into the kitchen drew Puppy's attention as his arms wrapped around her from behind. He pressed himself against her ass, placing a kiss on her neck, and Puppy smiled, "hey Birdie I have to go but we'll text and figure out the details."

"Okay, have a good day!"

"I will! You too!"

Ashton's lips were on Puppy's before she'd even hit the end call button.

Birdie watched with a frown as Luke threw some clothes into a duffle bag. His gaze went up to her and he laughed, "I'll only be gone two days princess." he assured her.

"I know." Birdie groaned, "but I'm going to miss you."

Luke zipped up the bag, climbing onto the bed, he held himself over her, pressing a kiss to her lips, "I'll miss you too, you know that."

Her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling his lips back to hers, "what if something happens to you?" her blue eyes searched his with concern.

"Nothing's going to happen to me." he smiled, peppering her face with kisses, "and nothing's going to happen to you either. You'll be with Puppy all weekend right?"

"Yeah."

"And you're excited. You've missed your girl sleepovers." Luke pointed out.

Birdie rolled her eyes, "yeah."

"I'll be back before you know it." he assured her, cupping her face to look into her eyes.

"Not true." Birdie insisted.

"Call me when you miss me-"

"You'd never get off the phone."

Luke chuckled, pressing his forehead against hers, "you'll be fine."
