I sigh in defeat as I stand outside my old house. "Are we gonna go inside or what cause I'm hungry." Zion says behind my resting a hand on my ass. "Fat ass nigga." I say walking up to the door. I ring the door bell and wait. My mom opens the door and a smile spreads across her face. She reaches to hug me but I step back. "Hi mom." I say hefore walking past her? "Hi." I hear say as he follows me. "SYDNEY!!" I hear my little cousin Jay yell as he runs from the living room to me. I let go of my suitcase and pick him up covering his face in kisses. "Hey Jay."

He smiles and hugs me. I turn to Zion. "This my og baby." He smiles. "He looks like lil Neviah." "Deadass." Jay looks between me and Zion. "Who are you?" Jay says looking at Zion. He leans down to his eye level. "I'm her boyfriend. Who are you?" Jay's little eyebrows pull together. "I'm her favourite cousin." I chuckle. "He knows what's up." Zion says looking at me. "Sydney honey." My dad says coming down the stairs in his PJs. He opens his arms for me to give him a hug so give Jay to Zion and give him a hug.

He holds me tight. Me and my dad may not have been on the best of terms but he was the opposite of my mom. He respected my choice of becoming a model and whenever me and my mom got into an argument he would always be on my side when it was necessary. "I missed you babygirl." He lets me go and turns to Zion. "So you're the guy making my daughter happy?" Zion nods while Jay was playing with his dreads. "You seem decent. I approve." I chuckle. "You're so damn extra dad."

"I'm not you're my one and only daughter." I smile. "I'll take your stuff up to your room." He takes up mine and Zion's suitcases and walk upstairs with them. "So are you guys hungry?" My mom says. "I don't know about Sydney but I am." Zion says following her into the kitchen. "Fat ass." I mumble.
