—chapter one—-

*ding dong* I heard the doorbell ring. I carefully get up and look through the
peep hole. Carson.
A smile formed on my face as I slowly opened the door and gave him a hug but my smile turned upside down when I saw
Johnny. Johnny Orlando.
We had history that Carson didn't know about. I ignored him as I greeted Carson and welcomed him in. "What are you doing here?! I haven't seen you since last April!" I say with curiosity. It was mid June.
"I wanted to surprise my best friend." Then the air was silent. It was awkward.
"Hey why aren't you guys talking? You guys are really close after all." "Carson-" Johnny cut me off. "I think it's just because we haven't seen each other in awhile."
I was a little mad. Every time I saw Johnny or when he said sometime I got mad. I got up and grabbed his sleeve and pulled him in the bathroom.
"Carson help yourself with snacks and put on a movie, we'll be back in a few" I shouted as I locked the door in the bathroom.
"Why did you lie!?" I shouted furious.
"I didn't lie!" He yelled back.
"Carson deserves to know! He's been there every step of the way for me when you weren't!"
Tears started making their way to my eyes.
He puts his hand on my cheek and looks me in the eye.
"I never meant to hurt you"
I turn away. "That doesn't change the fact that you helped Hayden cheat on me!"
I finally spat those words out.
"Look,I'm sorry."
"You know what Johnny! Those words don't help anything! You were my best friend. We were closer than close and at our worse we were better than most but that changed, because of you!
This is all because of you!"
Tears were flooding my eyes.
"When Hayden was cheating on me, you knew! I really thought you would tell me something like that but you didn't. And when I found out, you did nothing to help me, you left my side and took Hayden's when you knew he was the one who cheated! Carson was the only real one. He stayed with me when you didn't!"
He looked at me in my eyes and tried pulling me in a hug.
"Get off me! Nothing will fix this. You're dead to me! Go to Hayden, and while you're at it, go to hell!"
I went for the door but he grabbed my wrist.
He was gripping on very tightly.
I tried yanking my wrist away but it hurt even more.
I started wincing in pain. "Ow".
He finally noticed and let's go of my bruised wrist.
"Did I- I did t..that?"
He says with a shocked expression while looking down at my wrist.
I ignore him and open the door.
I see a 5"11 Carson standing there
with his arms crossed and a heated look on his face. Especially at Johnny.
"Care to explain?"
Carson said, lifting an eyebrow.
"Carson-"
but this time, Johnny wasn't the one to cut me off... it was Carson.
He swung a punch at John.
Next thing I knew I was in front of John,
protecting him.
"Annie get away."
"No. Calm down first."
