" This is what we've gotten as a quest, Brooke! We can't just give up like this! " Jake exclaimed, hands onto Brooke's shoulders.

" I know! But we've been searching for weeks if not months now and we're not even on a trace to anything, it's an hopeless case, Jake. " She said back, less aggressive or defensive than just before.

" Brooke--" Jake started, being interrupted by Chloe stepping in, pushing Jake's hand off of the blonde's shoulders, she glared at Jake and then turned to Brooke, expression soft but stern. " Brooke, when joining here, you swore you'd stay searching and sailing until there really was no hope anymore. Remember saying that with so much pride? With so much spirit! There's a reason Jeremy accepted you into the small crew- "

She stopped, looking over to Jeremy with a smile, and then back to Brooke. " Because you're a strong, independent and most of all smart woman, who we all know is a big part of this... "

" Family. We-  we are family. Whether you'd like it or not, " Jeremy piped in, smiling as he mostly just had stood to the side awkwardly.

Brooke smiled, nodding. " Alright... If you say so, let's just keep going to Mer-Lagoon. "

Chloe nodded as Jeremy rushed towards the steering wheel, followed by Jake,

"  North-west. We need to go more north if we are going straight ahead on. " The dark skinned boy said, pointing in one direction.

Jeremy nodded, turning the wheel and heading off to the point of where Jake said to go to.

" Rich? Rich, buddy, you in here? Heeelloo? " Christine started, her short hair in a small ponytail, her pinkish/green fin-like ears going up and down a little.

She groaned. " Richard Wamen Goranski! " she yelled out. Bubbles coming from her mouth. Whoops.

Anyways, Rich showed up from behind her, Jenna and Michael talking about some things in the abovegrounds.

" Oh-! There you guys are, I searched all around the rif for you guys! Where were you? " She asked, as she turned around in the dark water.

All of their ears glowed softly with the correct color of their tails. Jenna vilolet, Christine having a green and pink, Michael red and Rich orange.

" We were by my mom's, they said that we need to get to mermaid lagoon for a meeting with other gams and pods. " Michael explained.

" I- " Christine started, to just get interrupted by Rich. " And you were nowhere to be found then so we went to them on our own. Anyways- they're getting out parents now-  "

Jenna joined in, cutting Rich abruptly off. " And we can already go if we won't make trouble. They'll catch up. "

Christine nodded, confused. But shrugged it off. " Alright let's get going then. " She grinned,

Michael nodded and smiled, making sure his necklace wouldn't break or drift off when swimming preferably fast.

Michael went ahead rather quick, as Christine followed up as well. Rich sighed as he swam after the two, followed by Jenna.

" I feel like we're coming closer really fast. " Chloe stated. Looking out over the side of the small but strong ship. Jake nodded.

" The wind is in our adventage currently. It blows into north-west, where we need to go." Jake stated, looking over to the brunette.
