it was a good day. things had been good. so good, in fact, that they were just waiting for everything to fall apart again.
josh had his head in tylers lap as they watched some movie he couldn't have been bothered to remember the name of, soft syllables of utter adoration leaving the lips of both of them. equally as gentle sunlight filtered down through their floral curtains, showering them in the warm glow.
serenity.
"i can't wait for our future together. we can have lots of dogs and cute little animals."
"no kids?"
"i don't know, yet. i don't care as long as its with you."
the words flowed so easily out of the tiny boys lips that tyler almost couldn't process them.
"with me?"
"of course, tyty. you're my forever."
"i'm your forever."
the older boy murmured back, the words somehow a statement and a question.
it was almost subconscious as their pinkies joined.
it was habit
but also purposeful
because, yeah.
this was supposed to be their forever.unfortunately, good things never seem to happen to these two
do they?
