two months later, and still no one had told them exactly what was wrong. everyone had their suspicions. but simple suspicions didn't matter when joshua often couldn't breathe and had to be rushed to the hospital half the time.
today was one of those nights. where josh felt like his throat was coding up and he just couldn't get any air in. he gasped desperately, his perpetually worried boyfriend instantly rushing to his aid.
"i'm gonna go get your medicine, baby. hold on just a bit longer."
just as he was turning to go grad the treatment, his sleeve was grabbed by a weak hand with fingers turning blue.
"y-you'll come back?"
he gasped out. always afraid that tyler would leave him during an episode. scared he would go to the other room and never come back.
scared of his own death at such a young age.
tyler briefly laced their pinky fingers together as a response before rushing off to get the smaller boys medication.
but, somehow, that was enough.
