Chapter Nine

Author's Note - I have a couple announcements at the end of this Chapter!

Natsu's POV

"Natsu! Natsu wait!" I stopped running and turned around to face Lucy "What?" I asked. She took a deep breath "Look I know your upset, and you wanna kill Acnologia but you saw what he did to The Water Clan, and we don't have the strength in numbers right now. We should wait...." I clenched my fists and Gray walked up to me "She has a point Natsu, as much as I wanna go and kick Acnologia's ass, we don't have the strength and Juvia is hurt." he stated.

I was about to reply when I heard a twig snap, I stood in front of Lucy protectively and Gray did as well. Just then a guy with long black spiky hair and red eyes walked out from behind a tree with a smirk on his face "Gray! Long time no see! How's your clan holding up!? Oh wait I forgot my clan took them out!"  he shouted laughing. Gray handed Juvia to me and started charging at the guy, when I glanced at Lucy her fists were clenched and anger was all over her face What's going through her head right now? I thought.

"Gajeel you bastard! You took everything from me!" I turned my attention back to Gray, I don't know what's going on. But I never actually seen Gray fight, so this could be interesting. I heard Lucy mumbling stuff under her breath but I kept my attention on Gray and I'm guessing the guy's name is Gajeel. As I watched them throw punch after punch, I realized something was off. From Gajeel's smell I could tell he was from the Iron Clan but he isn't using his abilities at all. Gray on the other hand is.

Suddenly Gray tripped over a medium sized boulder and that's when Gajeel was about to take action, his hand turned into an Iron sword and he got ready to stab Gray Crap..."Lucy we should....." I glanced over to where Lucy was and realized she wasn't there anymore "Gray! Get up! Move!" I looked back over to Gray and saw Lucy running towards him. She ran up a smooth rock with a pointy tip and jumped off What the hell! A bright golden sword appeared in her hand right before she landed. Gajeel stopped and looked over at her "Who the hell are you?" he asked with anger in his tone.

Lucy smiled "Lucy, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray's little sis." she charged at him and attempted to swing on him, but he dodged. I ran up to Gray quickly and helped him up "You ok buddy?" he nodded in response, I handed Juvia to Gray and looked back at Gajeel and Lucy. Lucy was now wearing a bikini top and a skirt, some of her hair was down and she had two pony tails, one on each side of her head. Gajeel looked tired out his hand wasn't a sword anymore, it was back to normal.

Just then green vines wrapped around my body "W-What the hell!?" I shouted. "Lucy Heartfilia is quite strong isn't she?" I turned around to see a guy with black hair and an evil look on his face Wait I know him From the castle! "Mardgeer!" He smirked "The one and only." he turned his attention towards Lucy, who was now talking to Gajeel for some odd reason "Ah, The daughter of the stars. She would be a perfect subject for our generator." he said. Generator? "You keep your filthy hands away from her!" I looked over at Gray who was also wrapped up in vines and Juvia was laid up against a tree.

Mardgeer looked at me "Lucy is strong. You two are lovers, yes?" I felt my cheeks blush from the question "I'll take the blush as a yes, I wonder what would happen if Lucy's heart were to break and shatter...." I looked at Lucy, She had a serious expression she said something to Gajeel and Gajeel nodded. When she turned this way, shock took over her face and she started running over to us. I looked at Mardgeer he was smiling He wants her to come over here! That Bastard! What is he planning!?

"Lucy!" I shouted, that was all I was able to get out, before Mardgeer had his stupid vines cover my mouth. He did the same to Gray. Me and him exchanged worried looks, I'm not about to let Lucy get hurt. I have to get free! "Mardgeer let them go!" Lucy shouted. "My Dear cousin, Why would I do that?" Mardgeer asked. C-Cousin!? "You are not my cousin anymore! Let them go!" I looked at Mardgeer he did a weird hand motion, I heard Lucy scream out in pain and looked at her, a Vine must've scratched her arm cause she was bleeding.

Something snapped in me "You Bastard!" my whole body was on fire and the vines burned away "I'll burn you into a pile of ashes!" I started charging at Mardgeer when I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I fell to the ground with a thud and saw blood. "Natsu!" I saw Lucy run up to me and lay my head in her lap. "L-Lucy what's wrong?" I asked, her eyes filled with tears and everything around me started going dark, I felt her lips on mine and she was the last thing I felt and saw before my eyes closed.
