Lucy's POV

"Pervert!"

SLAP!

SPLASH!

I was now sitting in the river but I kept my eyes on the pink- headed Pervert in front of me. I gazed at him, he had a very muscular body that made me want to blush, it was dark so I couldn't really make out his face. He walked over to my clothes and towel and brought both things to me.

"Thanks....." I covered myself with my towel and went behind a tree to put my clothes on. When I finished I peaked around the tree expecting to see the Pervert there but he was gone. I backed up a little scared but stopped when I felt something behind me. I was about to scream when a hand covered my mouth.

"Please don't scream, I'm not gonna hurt you, I swear." I heard a voice say calmly. I nodded in response and he removed his hand. I turned around quickly and saw the Pervert. This time I was closer so I got a pretty good look at his face. He had big black eyes and his expression was calm.

"W-who are you?" I asked with a stutter.

"Natsu my name is Natsu." he replied. I looked at him Can I really trust him? I thought to myself. He doesn't look mean or dangerous.

"What's your name?" he asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oh right uh my name is Lucy!! Lucy Heartfilia! 2nd in command of the Celestial Clan! I like reading! I'm single! And I want all clans to be at peace with no violence!" I shouted. Why am I so nervous! He just asked for my name! Not a whole documentary about me! I was blushing, my whole face probably looked like a tomato to him. When our eyes met, he started laughing. I looked at him confused.

"Imma call you Luce ok? And thanks for giving me details about yourself. Guess I'm lucky you're single." he said this all with a grin on his face. Then I realized what he was trying to say.

"We just met!" I shouted, flushed.

"Relax Luce, I'm just kidding." he replied sending me a smile. My heart was beating fast. What's wrong with me!? This has never happened before!

"Hey meet me here tomorrow night too." I looked up at Natsu.

"Why?" I asked. I saw a little blush appear on his cheeks.

"Well because I think you're nice and pretty cool and I wanna see you again, and We could be friends, if you don't show up tomorrow then I know you don't wanna see me again and I'll understand." and with that he ran away into the trees disappearing into the night.

I woke up to see Gray in my tent half naked "What the hell Gray!" I shouted.

"Where were you last night?" he asked with an angered expression. Great..... He must've woke up last night to come check on me only to find me gone. I decided to tell him the truth.

"I couldn't fall asleep last night and decided to go take a bath in the river then I heard a twig snap and saw a rabbit come out of a bush and I got distracted. But I came back so nothing to worry about." Well half of the truth....

He looked into my eyes and I looked into his. Please believe me! Please believe me! Please believe me!

I thought he would never say anything when he started laughing. "A bunny Lucy? Come on your a warrior, not a girl who gets distracted by bunnies." he said. Saved! Haha! I sighed in relief and laughed nervously

"Yeah....you're right." I replied.

Once Gray walked out my tent I remembered what Natsu told me before I left.

"Well because I think you're nice and pretty cool and I wanna see you again, and We could be friends, if you don't show up tomorrow then I know you don't wanna see me again and I'll understand."

Should I see him again? He seems like someone I could get along with.....

I looked at the hand he grabbed when I almost fell into the river. My heart started to beat fast again.

"Ugh!" I shouted out in frustration. It wouldn't hurt to see him again. We're gonna be here for a couple weeks
......so I can get to know him.

I decided if I was going to see him again I needed to make something for him. So while everyone was out working. I stayed in my tent and got to work on something special.
