Chapter 56: Who's Next?

Vegito was flying low to the stage avoiding several blast from different fighters, still smiling. Yomi was running towards Vegito with green orbs around his fist while shouting, "Arghhhh!" Yomi lunged his body at Vegito who dodged a punch before ducking underneath an incoming kick before flipping away from a fast right hook. On Vegito's last flip he tossed a white ki blast into Yomi's stomach, sending him flying. While Yomi was flying Vegito appeared above him, performing an axe handle which slammed Yomi's body into the stage. Yomi coughed up blood when suddenly Vegito landed a punch which sent him flying through the stage, into the darkness.

  Vegito side stepped to the right avoiding Natsu's flaming fist which burnt the stage. Natsu turned around while yelling, "I'm fired up! Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" Natsu lit his entire body on fire before dashing towards Vegito who blocked the headbutt by crossing his arms. Natsu quickly grabbed Vegito's gi uniform, tossing him into the air followed by a trail of fire. Vegito preformed a couple midair flips before quickly catching his balance while Natsu leaped towards him using flames from his feet. Natsu shouted, "Fire Dragon's Talon!" Natsu tried to hit Vegito with a spinning, flaming axe kick but luckily Vegito managed to dodge in the nick of time. Vegito cocked his arm back before he landed a nasty punch which sent Natsu into a pile of broken stage pieces. Hmm? Vegito used Instant Transmission to appear on the stage avoiding a stream of fire which shot high into the air. The pile of rubble was sent flying by a burst of flames caused by Natsu who screamed, "You didn't think a lousy punch like that would put me out for the count when I'm this fired up?! You're sadly mistaken!" Natsu's flames swirled around him while Vegito smiled as he got into his fighting stance.

  Erza crossed her arms as she explained, "The flames Natsu ate from that one man who called himself Escanor must be kicking in now. With such a huge power boost like that he might actually be able to match their power." Gray groaned, "No, even with a power boost like that Natsu is still exhausted from previous fights. He's gonna need help from all the remaining members of those who represent Fairy Tail! Natsu, hurry up and beat him so we can go home!" Sting yelled, "That's right, you guys can do it! We believe in you!" Rogue lectured, "Gajeel, help your salamander friend. He can't do it by himself." Acnologia scoffed while Erza bellowed, "Fight with everything you've got, everyone go!"

  Natsu roared as he jumped into the air, "Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame!" Natsu ignited both his hands in flames then he brung them together, creating a large ball of fire. Natsu grunted as he slammed his attack at Vegito who punched the fireball causing a huge explosion. Vegito smirked as Natsu tumbled across the stage before springing back up to his feet. Vegito flipped over Gajeel's punch but as soon as he landed on the ground he dodged a bolt of lightning. Gajeel exclaimed, "Iron Dragon's Roar!" Vegito was forced to block a tornado like breath attack causing his skin to get cut by the many shards of metal. Laxus grabbed Vegito from behind putting him in a full Nelson position. Vegito grunted as he struggled to break free when suddenly Laxus began shocking his entire body with lightning. Vegito groaned in agony causing Laxus to let go of him allowing him to attempt to land an elbow but Laxus quickly transformed into lightning bolt which maneuvered all over the place. Vegito was keeping track of Laxus fast movement until he heard Gajeel shout, "Iron Dragon's Lance: Demon Logs!" Gajeel turned his arm into a large spearhead, which began firing several metal spears at Vegito who quickly flew up. That was a diversion! Vegito quickly looked to his left revealing Natsu flying towards him with a fire ignited fist. He looked to his right revealing Laxus jolting off the air towards him. Natsu yelled, "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Laxus grunted, "Don't mess this up Natsu!" Vegito blocked punches from both sides but he was still struck by the blazing flames and the shocking lightning at the same time. Unghh, that hurt! Natsu roundhouse kicked Vegito in his stomach before Laxus punched him down to the stage. Vegito coughed up spit before quickly rolling away from Gajeel's saw arm which grinded the stage to pieces. Vegito tried to stand up but his foot slipped on a stream of flowing water shocking him greatly. Where did-?! Gajeel took this opportunity to kick Vegito up against a wall of rubble. Vegito pulled him self out of the rocks when suddenly chains made out of water reeled him back up against the wall. Where is this water coming from?! Vegito pulled his right arm forward breaking free of one of the four water chains holding him down. Gajeel went to punch Vegito who used his free arm to catch his hand. That was a distraction to allow the water chain to cuff Vegito's wrist back against the wall. Natsu punched Vegito in his wait making him grunt as he kicked his leg up, breaking the water chain. Vegito's foot struck Natsu in his gut but Laxus' arms broken through the wall of rubble, putting Vegito in a choke hold. Vegito began screaming as his head was being electrocuted while Natsu and Gajeel delivered a relentless barrage of gut punches. Okay that's enough!
