Wake Up The Relentless Ocean

Chapter 5

I wake up to being shaken, when I open my eyes I see Noah above me.

"Come on Aqua we are going to be late if we don't leave now." I grab my phone and see that it's 11:50. Why didn't my alarm go off?!

"Why didn't my alarm go off and when did you get here?"

"I got here a little before 11, and when I came in you were sleeping, then your alarm went off so I turned it off and decided to let you sleep because you've had a busy day."

"Oh uh, thank you I guess." I get up and grab my waterproof bags full of my clothes then I head to the kitchen to grab a few bags full of food. "Will you grab the rest of the food please?"

"Everything is in waterproof bags right?"

"Of course everything is, we are going to be swimming in the ocean, why would I not put everything in waterproof bags?"

"How do you know we are swimming? We don't know what the sapphire will do."

"I was swimming with when you found me with Atlas, and it got wet and nothing bad happened then, what would be different this time?"

"Well there is only one way to find out, now let's get going before your dolphin gets worried." We then head to where Atlas is waiting for us. Once we arrived we sat everything down and rested saving our energy for the swim. Atlas soon pokes his head out of the water and whistles at us.

"You really found us somewhere to hide?!" I ask him excitedly. He whistles a yes back to me. "Great now we have to leave before anyone sees us."

"Wait, how are we going to take all the and our clothes with us?" Now that I look at how much we packed, I realize that he's right. Maybe I can use the sapphires power to help us. I grab the sapphire and close my eyes, concentrating as hard as I can on the bag full of food and clothes. I imagine the water moving up and over then taking the bags.

"What the?! Aqua what's happening?" I hear Noah say, I open my eyes to see that the water is doing what I asked it to do.

"I did it," I say to myself. "Atlas do you mind if I hold onto you while we swim? I'm going to need to have a lot of concentration to bring the bags with us." He makes a clicking noise telling me that's ok.

"Wait, you're doing this Aqua?" I turn to see Noah looking at me with amazement.

"Yeah, I thought that maybe if I concentrate really hard, that I could use the sapphire's power to carry our bags." I glance at the floor or whatever these people call the stuff that they walk on.

"You figured out how to use the sapphire's power, nice." I smile sheepishly at the ground.

"Thanks." We just stand there doing nothing until Atlas splashes us with water telling us it's time to go. "Ok ok, we're coming." I jump in the water and swim over to Atlas, I hear a splashing behind me telling that Noah just jumped into the water. I grab onto Atlas then look back.

"Are you ok with swimming? I mean Atlas is really fast, will you be able to keep up?"

"Yeah I'll be fine and if you get to where the dolphin found for us to hide and I'm not behind you I'm sure he'll be able to come back and find me." Why won't he just call Atlas by his name?

"Ok if you say so. Alright, let's go Atlas." I close my eyes again and focus on the water holding the bags following Atlas and I. I then feel Atlas start to swim, I open my eyes and look back to see if the bags are being brought with us. I see the water in a wave shape carrying the bags. I also see Noah falling behind so I try to have the water help him. I look around but don't see him, I feel really bad because I really want to help him. Then I hear him scream.

"THIS IS AWESOME!!" I then see another wave with Noah in it. I laugh then close my eyes again to make sure I don't lose my focus.
