"Anthony Edward Stark, get your billionaire ass in here right now!" (Y/n)'s voice echoed through the living room. Everyone in the vicinity flinched at the anger in her voice.

"Hey Steve? What was that you said about going out for shawarma?" Sam pocketed his phone, desperately looking around for the blond.

"Mum, calm down! What's wrong?" Dani stood in front of her mom.

"(Y/n), Dani, how was dress shopping?" Steve entered and tried to calmly converse with her.

"Where is he, Steve?" She was trying to hold back and not attack the poor super soldier.

"I'm not sure." He lied, turning to Dani. "Hey kiddo, we were all about to go out for some food if you wanted to come." His body language and expression conveyed why they were all leaving.

"That'd be great, I'll call Jonas on the way." The group left a steaming (Y/n) alone in the middle of the living room.

"Great, just run off. I can't promise nothing won't be broken when you get back!" She called after them, crossing her arms. She heard a noise on the stairs. "Was it Steve's idea to leave us alone?"

"I tried to tell him." Came Tony's voice. He emerged, wiping his greasy hands on a rag. "What are you so mad about?" He put on his best cocky smirk. (Y/n)'s head whipped around with a deadly glare.

"What are you playing at? Buying our dresses? Having a replica of your mom's dress made for her? Are you just trying to buy my daughter's love?"

"No, of course not! I just wanted to contribute something meaningful to our daughter." Tony raised his hands defensively. (Y/n) turned away, trying to calm down, knowing she was overreacting but all of her pent up emotions decided it would be best to make themselves known now. "It is customary for the father of the bride to pay for the wedding, including the dress."

"Oh, like you give a damn about customs! If you did then you wouldn't have left me alone after knocking me up! You would have manned up and taken responsibility for someone whose life you had just destroyed!" (E/c) eyes brimmed with angry tears. Tony steps closer to the distraught woman.

"Why didn't you do something about it then? If you resented her so mu-" A sharp slap halted him in his tracks, eyes locking with the raging ones of (Y/n).

"It's so easy for men to-" She paused, clenching her fists, trying to straighten out her thoughts. "I almost did. I sat parked in that parking lot for hours, willing myself to do it, for you. But as I sat there sobbing in my car in front of the clinic, I realized that I wasn't going to do a goddamn thing for you anymore. I wiped my eyes, cranked my car, and went immediately home to back. It took me years to let go of my hatred but now that I'm back you treat me like I don't exsi-" She stopped, realizing that she had started to ramble.

"I didn't mean that." Tony apologized. "I didn't mean for any of this to happen." (Y/n) engulfed him in a tight embrace, squeezing him close to her.

"I'm trying so hard. I don't want to be angry with you anymore, I just want to move on. I want what's best for Dani and Jonas. Please, Tony, help me." She pleaded, gripping his back for dear life. Tony pulled away, only to lead her to the couch. He sat down and pulled her down beside of him.

"Tell me about Dani, help me understand what I missed." And like that, (Y/n) laid her head on his shoulder, telling tale after tale of young Danielle. They laughed at the time she got suspended from school for dumping pudding on a bully's head for picking on her friend. Tony's heart broke when he heard about the week spent in the hospital trying to keep Dani alive after a severe car accident that had almost claimed them both. The two sat for hours like this, (Y/n) laying on him and Tony listening intently.

Dani, Jonas, and the others were laughing, slowly riding the elevator up to the top floor of the Tower.

"Nose-goes on who has to clean up all the broken stuff. 3, 2, 1, go!" Jonas hastily counted down, placing his finger on his nose, Dani, Sam, Rhodey, and Bruce following suit.

"What?" Steve looked between them, confused. The elevator reached the top floor and the group braced themselves. They slowly stepped out into the penthouse and to their surprise, was met with peaceful silence. Dani crept towards the living room, noticing the two heads barely poking above the back of the couch. Upon further stealthy tiptoeing, she walked around to the front couch in question. Tony was laid across the couch, propped up on the arm of it, and (Y/n) was laying stomach down on him, face on his chest. The two were asleep, small smiles resting upon their features. Dani threw a glance at the waiting people, raising a hand in a thumbs up.

"Steve still lost nose-goes, he has to get them a blanket." Sam pointed out, the group quickly disbanding and leaving the super soldier sighing alone.
