POV: Ashley Gladden

"What was gonna happen next mamma?" Alyssa asked interrupting me.
"I'm getting there baby. You need a little patience." I said running my hand over her dark brown hair.
"hmph. Fine." she sunk more into my lap.
"Where was I? Oh right"
...
"Ardia leave them alone." I said leaning in the doorway of Bagel and Jacksons room. Ardia had squeezed her way in between them.
"But." she started but I pushed myself up and walked to the end of the bed grabbing her ankle and pulling her off the bed. With a yell she fell to the ground with a thump.
"Hey! What was that for?" she asked looking up.
"Let them have their alone time." she just looked up at me
"Fine. But I want salt and vinegar chips." she said using the bed to pull herself up. I just rolled my eyes, "there's a bag in the room for you." Without a second thought she jumped up and ran for our room.
"Why do you always have a bag of those chips if you don't even like them?" Bagel asked snuggling up to Jackson.
"Because it's the only way to bribe her. You should be thankful, It got her off your asses didn't it?" I said with a small smile on my face. Bagel and Jackson are an adorable couple.
"Yeah, yeah. Thanks but can you get out now?" Jackson interrupted shooing me for the room. I stuck my tongue out at him and turned towards the door. But before leaving called out, "Don't do anything I wouldn't do!"
"That's not saying much." I heard Jack say before I turned the small corner into the common sitting room where Cole was sitting at the table scribbling something into his notebook while Lizzy was curled up on the couch with one of her books.
"Where's Mr. krabs and Malcolm?" I questioned taking a seat on the opposite end of the couch and propping my feet on the table next to Coles notebook. He didn't even look up, just used his hand to push my feet off and went back to writing.
"What you writing in that book anyway?" I said leaning over the table trying to get a better look but was blocked when he moved his hands over the pages. "None of your business, and those two are probably off trying to find new ways to annoy David." This time he looked up at me with an annoyed glare.
I just gave him a smile and leaned on the table with my elbows and holding my head in my hands. "And where might that be? Mr. krabs hasn't had his hourly dose of annoyance yet." All he did was sigh and nodded his head towards the ceiling, indicating that they were on the top deck.
"Thanks!" I sang and made my way to the stairs.
First I was met with the blinding light of the sun reflecting off the water, and when my eyes adjusted I saw Shane and Malcolm standing with Poffhead, a name we gave to Matt because of his poofy hair. They were using him to any the hell out of David.
