Chapter 12 - Ryan

As I parked my car in the parking lot, in front of my apartment, Catherine had already fallen asleep. Her face was hot and her cheeks were reddened from all the weeping. Still, she looked so peaceful while she slept. In order not to wake her up, I gently opened her belt and got out of the car to carry her inside. Arrived in my apartment, I went to the bedroom with Catherine in my arms and put her onto the bed.

As I got up to sleep on the couch, I felt a hand grabbing my arm. I turned around and looked into her beautiful eyes.

"P ... Please do not go, I do not want to sleep alone. Could you please sleep with me? Part of my past has caught up with me, I'm not sure how to handle it at the moment. If you go now I feel like I could lose my mind. I'll stay just for tonight ... "

I silenced her by placing my lips on her lips. She trembled and a tear fell down her cheek. Automatically, I caught it with my thumb and gently stroked her cheeks. She hugged me and began to sob. Catherine trembled all over. Tears streamed down her cheeks and she clung tighter onto me. I pressed her to me and rested her head against my chest.

"Let it out," I whispered in her ear. She whimpered and cried harder now than before. All the pain that had accumulated in her for years now came out of her. Finally, she gave only a soft sob, before she stopped crying. She looked up at me.

Her eyes were glassy and empty. Slowly she raises her hand and put it on my cheek.

"Can you ease my pain?"

I nodded silently and she kissed me. I know what she's up to, but right now she needs more than just sex. I wanted it. I wanted it as much as she did. But I could not just exploit her while she was so exhausted. She pushed me against the head of my bed and started to, playfully kiss me with tongue. Gently, I grabbed her shoulders and gently pushed her away from me.

"I think you need some sleep."

Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes cold as ice.

"No. I need you. Only you. Because you're all I have left. "I felt warm when she said those words.

I heard the soft snoring that she made when she fell asleep. I kissed her on the forehead and whispered into her raven hair.

"I'll never leave you. You will always stay by my side and I will never let you go. "I pulled her closer to my chest and put my arms around her. "Never," I repeated in my mind. I watched her sleeping face for a while before I fell asleep.
