Crocodile tears

You cry
at this point I am not sure if I believe you
is something really wrong?
Or are you wanting a spot the spotlight again?
I want to believe the former,
but the latter is more believable
I'm cautious with my empathy around you
because I think that you're trying to sap my supply
if you cause a shortage,
I'll be forced to keep it for myself
which is unfortunate because next time you come in needing a higher dosage,
I will have no refills left to give you.
