Christmas came early for me this year. The mood felt so jolly and everything around me just looked amazing! The branches were naked and looked like twizzlers. Even though snow should have already started to come down for some reason the ground wanted to be dry as sand on a hot summers beach day.  Some houses on my block had the brightest Christmas lights and decorations on it. Mrs. Gilbert even has a Santa mailbox in front of her house for us kids to mail some letters off to Santa, but everything that I want is right in front of me. My Daddy. Man, I don't know why Daddy has on that broke down Santa suit it looks so funny on him, but I love it!

My entire day felt like it was going to be a really good day. I was so excited to finally see my dad after two whole years. Wow it's been that long! I missed my daddy so much. Maybe now Mommy won't see Raymond anymore and I won't have to feel scared. Maybe now I won't have to go with those disgusting old men. Maybe now Raymond won't have to play with my mind with getting me things. I won't feel like I have to do those horrible things in order to get what I want. I have my daddy back now. Everything will be alright. Right? Should I tell daddy what Raymond is doing to me? So many thoughts were running through my head and then daddy interrupted it.

"Hey baby girl. You know daddy missed you so much right?" he said in a playful tone.

"I missed you too daddy. I missed you ALOT!" I replied.

"I promise you that I will never be gone that long again. Daddy made some really stupid mistakes and I'm so sorry." Daddy looked at me and then straight ahead to look at the road.

Man daddy's car was so nice. I've never seen a car this nice other then mommy's boyfriend. It has silver shiny rims, a fresh new car smell and he even had TVs in the back! I hope that I can ride in this car and be with daddy forever. I rolled down the window and stuck my head out feeling the cold harsh breeze slap my face. It was just something about today. It felt different.

"You hungry?" Daddy asked.

"Ummm.. a little" I replied back.

"How about I take you to Robby the Roosters Place?"

"Really! I haven't been there since I was 6! Yes! Yes! Yes!" I was so excited to go that used to be my favorite place before daddy went away.

"Anything for my baby girl." Daddy looked at me and smiled with his wide grin. His teeth were whiter than snow. They looked so perfect. Everything about him just makes me smile.

"Hold on baby girl." Daddy parked the car inside Robby The Rooster Place parking lot and came around on my side to open my door. "Look at my baby. You are too big!" He said to me as he twirled me around in a circle then grabbing me to give me the biggest hug.

His arms big and strong arms wrapped around me made me feel so safe. I smiled from ear to ear as we both walked inside. I ran inside super excited to get to the first ride. There were quite a few kids and adults here. Every kid in here was running around screaming going crazy! I haven't been out to have fun in such a long time I forgot what it almost felt like to just be a kid. Daddy paid for my ticket and started to walk towards me.

"Dang Rae you couldn't wait for me!" Daddy said laughing at me.

"No Daddy I'm sorry!" I replied back too busy being occupied on the ride.

"You want me to order you some food now?" Daddy asked.

"Yes you can." I said back.

"Robby's Round Special?" He asked me knowing that's my favorite on the menu.

I nodded my head in agreement. He looked at me and went over to our table. Suddenly I felt a knot in stomach.

"Hey Babygirl." I looked over and it was Carlos.
