Chapter 10

Izuku's POV

  Today's the first day of school at UA. After waking up at 7:00am, I took a shower and put on my uniform. I made sure to check if I have everything I need then I had breakfast of eggs and toast. At 7:30, I lock the door of my house then left for school. It was a peaceful walk to school. I passed by a few people and even some cats and dogs.

 I was soon in front of the large UA gate. I was still amaze at how huge the school building was. I soon wonder around the hallways looking for 1-A classroom. It took me awhile but when i found it, I was both impress and confuse by the size of the door. When I open the door, I saw a little bit of an argument.

"Take your feet off the desk now" said by the same guy during the exam who was a bit rude. "Don't you think that's disrespectful to the people who made that desk and to your classmates!?"

Bakugo being himself answered, "Tch! I don't think so. Which middle school are you from anyway you damn Extra!?" 

"My name is Iida Tenya from Soumei Private Academy" he answered.

Bakugo smirk at that statement and said, "Soumei, so an elite? Im gonna have fun crushing you!"

"Crush me!? What nerve! You want to be a hero with that attitude?" Iida asked.

Then both of them notice me by the door. Iida approach me and once again introduce himself. "Nice to meet you. Im Izuku Yagi" I said calmly. Toya always remind me that I should be calm and relax to insure that my control of my quirk is kept. Iida then talk about me finding out about a hidden nature of the exam while I told him I knew nothing about that . Bakugo and I lock eyes and lucky for me, he didn't make a scene.

"AH! It's you! The one from the exam!"

A voice exclaimed from behind me. I looked and saw the some brown haired girl who i saved during the exam. 

"You passed the exam and now we're in the same class. You were really awesome back there. Especially on how you defeated the zero pointer robot!" she exclaimed happily.

By her statement, my classmates were giving me a few reactions. For examples, a guy with red hair and sharp teeth was looking at me with wide eyes and a toothy smile. Another one was a girl with onyx eyes and black ponytail hair seems to be analyzing me with her hard stare. Some of their reactions are starting to make me a little bit uneasy.

"OH! Right! I haven't thank you for saving me. Im Ochano Uraraka! Nice to me Yagi."

"Nice to meet you as well" I said.

"I wonder if we're just gonna have an orientation today. I would really like to know who are teacher is gonna be. Im really excited to know"

"If your just here to play and make friends then go somewhere else," a bored voice said behind us.

We look and saw someone who look like a giant yellow caterpillar. I wonder if its a mutation quirk.

"This is the Hero Course,"  it said. But then I saw a hand came out so not a caterpillar. It was just someone inside a sleeping bag.

"It took all of you eight seconds before you were quiet. Time is limited here. You kids are not quick enough," it said as the person came out of the sleeping bag.

"Im your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa, Nice to meet you." he said in a monotone voice.

Everyone of us were surprise since our homeroom teacher was a worn out looking person, but then it somehow click in my head. He seems familiar and now I know why.

"Your the underground pro hero, Eraserhead. Your quirk allows you to erase someones quirk as long as you can see them" I stated.

He look at me and game a tiny nod.

"Its kind of a sudden, but I want everyone to put this in and go out unto the field" he said and pull out a uniform from his sleeping bag.

After receiving our uniform we all went to our changing rooms. All the guys around me seems to have some interesting guys that Im curious about are Iida, the red haired guy, the one who have a bird head and the guy who have a dual colored hair.

After changing, we all went out to the field were and we found Mr. Aizawa waiting for us. There he told us we were going to undergo a Quirk assessment test.

"What about the ceremony and the orientation?" Uraraka said.

"If you want to be heroes then you have any time for any kiddy things. Here in this school, we teachers have the freedom to do anything as we see fit for our class. Thats why we are having a quirk assessment test using eight different activities. Since its a quirk assessment then naturally you all are allowed to use your quirks which you weren't allowed during your middle school days," he informed.

The way he said it seems to have another reason behind them. A teacher would not simply have a test without a certain goal in mind but overall observation seems to conclude that Aizawa is a mystery.

"Bakugo, how far could you pitch a softball back in middle school?"

"67 meters" Bakugo answered.

"Try using your quirk this time and as long as you dont exit the circle then anything you do is fine."

"Die!" he shouted as he used his explosive quirk on the ball as he threw it.

Same old Bakugo. Always the hot head and always will be.

"It is important  to know what your capable of," Aizawa said as he showed us the result.

705.2 meters.

"Awesome! This looks like fun!" someone exclaimed.

"We could really use our quirks? Thats the hero course for you!" another  exclaimed.

Somehow these comments cause something in Mr. Aizawa to snap.

"Fun you say?" he said.

Mr. Aizawa then look at us with a bit of a crazed look in his eyes.

"So you think that becoming heroes is fun? Then lets make it more fun until you all have all the fun you can have. The student who rank last will be instantly expelled."

Some of my classmates reacted a bit from the statement while Im just exited  to use my quirks freely.

"Expelled!?! This is our first day here and even if it wasn't it is still is unreasonable!" Uraraka exclaimed.

"Natural Disasters, Accidents, Villain Attack and others. All of those are just some calamities that can happen when when we least expect. It's our jobs as heroes to overcome them. The next three years in your life here in UA will be full of hardship one after another. This is 'Plus Ultra' and I expect everyone to overcome these trials and be on top."

This is UA, the top hero school. It will be full of obstacles and it will make me climb on top. A hero is never easy but I will overcome them all.
