IM Not You!

Chapter 20

Izuku's POV

I was sent to a place which I would guess as the Conflagration Zone. I was on top of a building that happened to be one that was not completely on fire. The place was huge. I would love to explore the burning zone to figure out how this place function but right now, I need to leave the place and see what happened to the others. The temperature of the place was hot but I was already used to fire so it didn't bother me much. I jump to the next building with the help of Wind Manipulation and began to search a way out.

As I was searching, I heard some noises near me. I went and investigate what it was and found one of my classmates fighting villains by himself. If I remember right, his name was Ojiro and from what I see, he's handling the situation well. Deciding to stop observing, I summon several swords and launch them at the villains Ojiro wasn't fighting. Surprise by my sudden action Ojiro, and the other villains frantically look around. Once they saw me, I repeat what I did before and successfully knock down the remaining villains. I then jump down and walk towards him. 

"Thanks for the save Yagi! I was starting to get tired of fighting so many." 

I told him that it wasn't a problem and gave him an energy bar from my pouch. I brought some since healing injuries require using some of my own energy and thank God I did. I got a feeling that today's incident might need more than just seven energy bar worth of injuries. Plus, I can handle some situations better than most people here. I collected and store the swords I used and we both look for the way out together.

We both encounter a few more villains while searching and when we finally found the way out, we ran toward it. We ran back to where the entrance of the USJ was, to where we may find the others. 

What we saw as the two of us was near the plaza area was a lot of unconscious villains Aizawa took down. The thing that we saw next made me worried and Ojiro pale. Our homeroom teacher was injured and being held down by a large purplish creature with a beak mouth. Ojiro and I both ran to help Aizawa. I summon five swords and launch it at the villain. My swords were able to pierce the villain and knock it back a little which free our teacher from its grip. Ojiro caught our teacher while I made sure the villain stay down for a while. He then carried Aizawa the best he can and we ran away from the villain as able as we can with our teacher's condition.

"Ojiro, go and regroup with the others while I'll buy you some time," I suggested.

Lucky for me, he didn't argue and continue to run up the long stairway. He seems to have some faith in me and I hope I won't disappoint him. 

I stopped a few feet from the monstrous villain and wonder if it's still alive or not. It was mindlessly staring at me. Five swords were floating around me taking aim and ready to strike. I notice that there was another villain behind the one I'm facing. A villain with a lot of hands. He gives an unsettling feeling but much less than the monstrosity in front of me.

"Nomu, take care of that brat" the hand villain ordered.

It charges at me with incredible speed and I was thrown a few feet away. It broke three of my swords and the other two were cracked. Luckily for me, it didn't hit me or I probably have some broken bones already. It charges again at me and starts to send a punch. I was thrown back again and my swords were totally shattered. I summon a few more and launch it that its feet. It didn't stop it but only slow it down. I manage to call two more swords in front of me before a strong punch hit me. It manages to shatter my swords again and hit my right arm. 

My arm will surely bruise or even crack. It doesn't make sense to me. Right in front of me was a villain that swords embedded on it but it doesn't look like it has any effect at all.  Letting my guard down, I didn't notice it about to attack before its too late. All I manage to do was put both of my arms in front of me to protect my head. I was once again blown away. This time I'm pretty sure my arms are broken. They both hurt and I can't move them much.

"It's no use. Nomu was made to kill All Might. You won't be able to stop it even if you try.!" the hand villain proudly declared.

I slowly start healing my arms while the other villain was busy talking. This fight was nothing I ever experience. I was sitting down but I'm not done yet. I summon half a dozen swords and start my attack. It's frustrating but I won't go down without defeating it.

Its the same cycle over and over for the next ten minutes. Avoid being hit by the Nomu, summon swords to attack and slowly heal if given the change. The fight now was noisier. The mist villain appears next to the hand villain who I now know as Shigaraki and told him that a student manage to escape the building. Shigaraki was angry and was now fighting Todoroki while the mist villain was pinned down by Bakugo with Kirishima now far from them. The Nomu showed no sign of slowing down while I on the other hand was starting to get tired. 

After breaking another set of swords, the Nomu charge at me and was now holding me tightly. It got a strong grip and was slowly squeezing me. It was getting harder to breathe but that wasn't the only danger for me. I was slipping. I'm starting to feel helpless which was never a good sign with a control base quirk. Maintaining a calm and stable mind was important if not then I don't know what would happen and I don't want to find out. 

The lack of air was starting to make me dizzy. I'm starting to feel light-headed. It's slipping. My consciousness was slipping but the danger was still there. Not long after, my vision blackout.
