Living through the apocalypse with my baby

My Life

Wahh Wahh I wake up to the same sound that I have been hearing for the past 6 months, the sound of my sweet little angel crying.

I get out of bed to walk towards my baby nursery and as I enter I think about what has happened in the previous months when I found out I got pregnant, reactions of people I thought loved me and the birth of my sunshine Angel.

When I reach in front of her crib I picked her up and try rocking her to sleep but it seems that she is restless. So I walk out of her room and down the stairs towards the living room to sit in front of the tv that is still on the news channel.

As I watch what the news and coo at baby I think that when my parents completely disowned me it was a good thing because a deadly disease is going around in the place that I used to live at and the place they still live at.

I notice that my sweet Angel has fallen asleep and as I look at her nose I see my mom's nose the woman that raised me for 18 years the woman that told me it was my fault that the situation happened the woman that told me to get an abortion the woman that when I said no kicked me out of her home and her life and the woman that as her last good bye to me gave me a 3 story home fully furnished, baby clothes and a master gold card with unlimited funds.

Just thinking about her brings back all those bad memories of when the people I thought were my best friends abandoned and shamed me for not getting an abortion and when my father completely and utterly embarrassed me by saying that I was never his daughter and how he sent the servants to throw me out with only the clothes on my back.

As I go to walk upstairs with my baby in my arms I see on the news a live report of a burnt man that clearly has had his arm bitten off chasing a young woman across the street and finally jumping on her eating her stomach and for 5 minutes the tv does not move and I think that this a joke or that the cameras are messed up and then I see the most terrifying thing the woman that I though was dead suddenly let's out a horrific scream and the man on top of her gets up and both the men and woman looks up at the camera and springs up towards who I think is the camera man and trys to bite him and I hear him say run that there are zombies chasing him while the camera drops on floor and cracks.

After watching that the news channel cuts off and I just stand there in shock thinking to myself is this real and if it is real how long is it going to take to spread to here. So I walk upstairs and I reach the nursery in a daze and put Angel down in here crib and then make my way to the third floor and start to plan.

If that was real than the government does not have this under control because why would it be on the news. If it was real how long do I got untill does things come after me and Angel. No I can't let anything happen to her so I have to plan on what to do. Do I leave now or stay and wait, if I leave now where would I go. I know to my family's winter cabin in Canada in the ice cold area where it snows a lot close to Alaska and not many people live there.

I think I made my choice I will go tomorrow afternoon I will start my journey to Canada but maybe I won't need to do that maybe this will all go away but I can't  jeopardise her safety if this is fake then we can always come back but if it is real than we need to leave before it is to late.

I first check the time and it says it is 11:30 then I grab 5 duffle bags and 3 backpacks to fill it with things.I also grab my powerbanks and plug them in the wall along with my phone, tablet and laptop then I grab the first duffle bag and fill it with all my winter clothes and my winter jackets and also put in my all my undergarments, socks, and femine products in the bag. I grab the second bag and fill it with 35 blankets that I am sure I will need while I was doing this I checked the time and it said it was 12:30.

I need to hurry up I grab another bag and go to the nursery and grab all off her clothes and socks I also put her binkys and her pacifier in there to but leave two pairs of clothes socks binky and her pacifier out.
I also load most of her diapers, baby wipes, baby soap and lotion in the bag too.

I get the fourth bag and go into the kitchen and put all of the the canned food in the bag along with the 3 big cans of powder baby formula and baby snacks. I also get a can opener along with 2 knives and 3 spoons and forks. I also get my protein powder and protein bars from the cabinet and put it in the bag. I also get two big bags of sweet purple bag of Doritos and put them in the bag.

I then get every water bottle and put it in the last duffle bag. All I can say is that I am lucky I went grocery shopping yesterday. The water bottles amount to 60. I leave this bag here and then I go grab all the other duffle bags to bring them in the kitchen. When I finish with that I go check what time it is currently it is 2:00.

I walk to where I put one of the backpacks and grab it and go outside to where my shied is and I enter it and grab my 9mm,Glock 19,Beretta 92FS , hunting rifle, ammo and then I grab some seed packets and put them in the bag.

I walk into my home and put some baby bottles that all ready has milk in it and put it in my bag I then grab some protein bars and energy drinks and put some in the bag too.

I then grab the second backpack and put some of Angel 's toys and blankets in there. I then put two ear buds in there leaving room for the electronics.

I then bring down her car seat and go around in the back to retrieve 3 gallons of gas for my pickup truck. You may wonder why I have a lot of gas it's because I live along way from the town my parents shipped me to. I finally think I have everything I need so I decide to sleep until it is 10:00 because we need to leave the house around 12:00.

Before I sleep I check the time it is 3 right now.I set my alarm and it is off to dream land.
