"No. This is not true. This CAN'T be true!!" Augustina shouted. She wanted to throw her best friend Anne's phone to the corner and smash it, crush it, destroy it! The phone screen showed the proposal of a guy to Anne through text. In usual cases, she would have been happy to tease her friend about it. But, when her BOYFRIEND had proposed Anne, what can she do?
Augustina's eyes welled up with tears. Anne took her phone away from her tight grasp and hugged her tightly. She let her cry. She let her howl with pain and humiliation.
From that day, Augustina swore never to fall in love. She was fed up with these lies.
