12. It's Time To Talk

I've been sitting on a swing for the past couple of minutes while Easton paces back and forth in front of me.

"I'm so sorry, I never meant for any of this to happen" I say as I look down at my hands with an embarrassed expression "I got pushed onto you and it happened. I would never take advantage of you" I say but I get pulled up by him as he brings us into a hug.

"I never meant to break your heart" I say as I hug him back before pulling away.

"You never broke my heart, Amelia" he says causing me to give him a confused expression

"Then why did you tell me I did?" I ask

"I wanted to see if you really did care about me" he says

"By saying that I broke your heart?" I ask in confusion, disbelief, and maybe a little bit of anger

"Yeah, I didn't think that through" he says as he scratches behind his neck with a guilty expression on his face.

I punch his bicep and cross my arms.

I've been worried because of nothing thanks to this jerk.

I walk away from him and down the side walk as he rushes after me

"Amelia, you can't ignore me" he says causing me to become furious

"And why the hell not" I snap at him as I turn around and glare at him

"Because I love you too much to let you leave again" he says as he looks me in the eyes

"You have a funny way of showing it" I say as I think back to the locker room situation

"How about I take you on a date tomorrow night?" He asks as he grabs my hand and lightly rubs the pad of his thumb over my knuckles

I smile as I think about how weird we are. We can go from fighting to being nice to each other in only a couple of minutes. It's always been like that. Even when we were kids.

I nod my head "Okay" I say as I lace our fingers together and we walk back towards the car.

I walk through their front door and immediately head upstairs to Stella's room.

When I enter her room, I see her watching a movie. She turns her head to me as she hears her door open and smiles

"Did he finally grow some balls and ask you out?" I hear her say before she turns her attention back to the movie and pats the spot beside her on the bed causing me to blush.

I walk over and take the seat she offered on her bed before I clear my throat so that my mind focuses on another topic.

"Are you coming to school tomorrow?" I ask her as I desperately want to change the conversation so I won't be a blushing idiot the whole time

"He did, didn't he?" She says with a smirk as she observes my blushing face causing me to nod my head

"Great, he's my brother though so if you break his heart I won't hesitate to beat you up." she says making me look at her wide eyed in fear and shock

"I understand" I say before her door opens and her twin's head pokes in

"Can I talk to Amelia for a second?" He asks Stella with a excited expression on his face

"This is where we part ways my friend" Stella says as she turns to me dramatically causing me to roll my eyes at her and smile.

I stand up from my spot on her bed and walk towards the door, I opened the door and he followed behind with a hand on my back while his other hand closed the door.

We walked down the hall and into his room so that we could have a little privacy for whatever topic he wanted to bring up.

I sat on his bed but, shortly after he sits against the headboard, he lifts me up by my hips causing me to let out a squeak before he places me on his lap causing me to blush again.

"So um, What did you want to talk about?" I ask him as he places his hands on my thighs so I don't fall off

"Do you remember that beach we went to when we were fifteen?" He asks as he looks deep into my eyes

"Yeah, How could I forget it. I loved that beach, still do" I say with a smile as I remember all the memories from that day

He smiles at my answer "How would you feel if we went there for our first date?" He asks me with a hopeful glint in his eyes

"I would love that" I say with a smile as he starts to lean in causing my breath to hitch when we're only a couple of inches away

"Is this okay?" He whispers causing me to feel his warm breath on my lips

"Yeah" I say as he looks from my eyes to my lips causing me to feel a tingling sensation in my lower stomach

"Can I kiss you?" He asks as he moves a little closer causing our lips to brush together making me feel an electric sensation on my lips as they start to tingle

"Yeah" I say before we both move forward causing our lips to meet in a eagerly passionate kiss.

I throw my arms around his neck and pull us closer together, if that's even possible, as he tightens his hold on my thighs causing me to let out a muffled moan as he licks my bottom lip for permission, but I keep my mouth closed and smirk as he groans in frustration.

He moves his hands back to squeeze my butt causing me to gasp in surprise as he takes that chance to slip his tongue in my mouth while also pushing me closer towards him with his hands resting against my bottom.

We were so into the moment that we didn't hear his door open. We only stopped when the person yelled out, making their presence known.

"I go on a business trip for two weeks and come back just to walk in on you and a girl making out in your room" the very familiar voice exclaims causing me to jump off of Easton's lap and stare at the woman with a scarred expression and red cheeks

"I'm s-sorry M-Mrs. Hayes" I say to the woman as she turns to me and her expression suddenly changes to one of realization and happiness

"Hey Amelia. I was excited to see you again, but not in this way" she says with a slight chuckle causing my blush to deepen

"Mom, she was helping me get something off my lip" he says trying to defend my actions which just makes his mom laugh harder

"Is that why you have a boner and why her nipples are a little too excited?" She remarks causing both Easton and I to look down at the area she was referring to on our bodies and grab a pillow to cover it.

Fuck. I should've worn a bra today.

"I'm not mad at you guys, just surprised" she says causing both of us to relax

"Don't do something you'll both regret though" she says before walking out of the room, closing the door behind her

"I think I'm going to go to Stella's room while you um-" I say as I blush and rub the back of my neck before I point to the pillow that is covering the tent in his pants

"Yeah okay- um- I'll see you later?" He asks as he rubs the back of his neck in nervousness also

"Yeah, later" I confirm before I jump up and hurry out of the room in embarrassment and walk into Stella's room, only to see that she's already asleep.

I take of my shoes and tie my hair into a bun before I lay down in the open spot on her bed and immediately fall asleep from in the warmth that her bed provided.
