"I don't need a guy, trust me." I replied, walking to the pool with Tucker.

I slipped my shirt and shorts off as people began arriving and began to step into the salt water viking pool, holding Tucker to my body.

"You ready for the water?" I asked, jumping a bit to play with him as I stepped off of the last step and into the water which came just above my belly button.

" let his legs and waist hang in the water as I held him there, still hugging him to my body as he laughed and kicked his feet.

"Ya know, at this rate you'll be like a fish in no time." I said, cooing to the small boy in my arms.

I looked at the banner that hung above the pool. 'Happy 1st Birthday Tucker!'

I smiled and enjoyed the rest of the party.

Tucker enjoyed the pool as well did many family members and family frineds and he loved his presents and his cake.

I didn't go to the party at the pier that night, me and Lanie went to my place for a movie marathon instead.

"Wake up Birthday Girl!" MAndy's voice screeched, awakening me too early for my liking.

I groaned and rolled over, not wanting to get up. I sighed as I felt tiny feet pressing into my back.

"Can you get him? He's killing my back." I said, rolling forward more to give her room.

She laughed and pulled the baby out of the bed, craddling him on her hip.

"You and Lanie go out for a while today, me and your dad are gonna head out to get some stuff for your party. Tucker's going to Jodie's for the night." She said, sitting on my bed.

"Okay. I think we're gonna go to the mall. I forgot to get a few things while I was out yesterday so I'm gonna go to Glenbrier. i went to Lynnhaven yesterday and they didn't have them so." I said, sitting up and rubbing my eyes.

"Alright. Be careful and have fun. Be at Gramma's around eight." She said, standing up and leaving the room.

I shoved Lanie, jolting her awake.

"What the heck do you want?" She grumbled, still half asleep.

"Get up and get dressed. We're going to the mall." I said, getting up and getting in the shower.

"You should wear that cute floral sun dress tonight." Lanie said from her spot, perched on the sink shaving her legs and brushing her teeth.

"I might. I thought about a white crop and light wash shorts." I said, rinsing the soap from my hair.

"Nah, the sun dress." She said.

I smiled to myself.

I got out of the shower and went to my room, Lanie following me shortky after.

I put on a pair of underwear and slid the sundress over my head.

While I was blowdrying my hair and doing my make up Lanie was in the closet getting dressed and picking out my shoes.

"You should wear wedges." She said, coming out with a pair of black wedges.

I shook my head. "Too much walking. Get me some gladiaters."

She sighed but did as I asked as I began to loosly curl my hair.

When we were ready we took a picture together and I posted it along with tons of pictures from last night.

We drove to the mall, music up and our energy clense waters in hand.

When we got there we walked inside and headed towards Papaya.
