Why do people assume, that young people don't go through heartache, why do they assume that we don't fight a battle as they do? Why do they assume that everything in our life is nothing but dull and typical? Why do they think our hearts are impermeable to the venom that seeps through to it?
Because the truth is, we're naive and we like to expirement, we like to go out into the world and put ourselves out there and indulge and break our hearts, we like to wear our hearts out on our sleeves and give it to whoever wants it, either to obliterate it or guard it, we give it all, we don't hesitate, we're relentlessly reckless, clueless, impulsive, and young.
We go through so much to figure out who really loves us, who really bats an eye for us and who is willing to put everything on the line for us, we expose ourselves to all the circumstances and conditions, we don't hesitate, maybe because we're young and we're reckless and stupid.
But weren't they the same as us one day? Didn't they experience the same feeling? Weren't they young too? So to judge us and say we wouldn't know what real heartbreak is, well trust me we've been fools, and we've had our hearts fragmented into ashes and dust by the people that we held dearest.
Don't judge me.
