Daisies

She ran around in the daisies field,

laughter radiated from her like sunshine radiates from the sun.

Her black hair, loosely flying in the air, as free as the waves of the blue ocean, as smooth as the sand on the pretty beach.

Oh she was so ecstatic, so carefree, full of laughter and happy thoughts.

She wondered how long she would be, so happy and carefree.

Oh so clueless and naive, the little girl was.

Ran around plucking daisies and giving them to everyone.

With a smile plastered on her face, and sunshine in her big heart.

She gave all the daisies away.

Till she looked down and saw none in the field, none for herself.

All the daisies were gone now.

She hysterically started to search for a daisy, one for herself.

Wielded by emotion.

She searched and searched,

But it was too late,

For the daisies have all met their fate.
